Carolina Natali: It's a lovely book! The instructions are really clear, they give all the measurements, so for me that doesn't appreciate cooking is an amazing idea! The book has recipes for all types of occasions! I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

K. Jolly: I love this cookbook. Beautifully illustrated with delicious easy to make recipes. The simplicity of these recipes allows for creativity and versatility. Healthy, organic ingredients are affordable and can be readily substituted based on the season and availability. So grateful to the McCartney family for sharing these recipes, Linda’s passion for cooking, and her animal welfare activism with the world.

Beavo63: The stories about Linda McCartney by Paul and her daughters definitely make this a unique and collectible cookbook. I wouldn't say the recipes are especially impressive, but I'm looking forward to using them. I do have the impression that the recipes are not necessarily Linda's but rather inspired by the daughter's memories of food served by their mother. Linda, apparently, cooked intuitively. One thing is clear, The McCartneys were way ahead of their time regarding animal cruelty.

Junko: I've been eyeing this book for long time and finally decided to purchase and very happy that I did. This book must be very old but it's still very current. I didn't notice but Linda uses aquafava in one desert dish. Other vegan authors must be copying her, since they are all using that currently. Most of dishes are easy but still tasty and balanced. Usually I can only find a couple dish in one good cookbook, but I have so many that I want to try in this book. Looking forward to trying making all the dish in this book!

Cristie Ricciotti: I bought this after after a while now of being inspired by Paul regarding more plant-based eating. My intention isn't to go full vegetarian or vegan (he and family are vegan), but to add more plant-based meals and thereby eat animal meats a little less. Also, to replace some dairy as dairy is a known trigger for inflammation. This book is beautifully done! It is hardcover, contains family photos, personally-written excerpts from Paul, Mary and Stella, very helpful nutritional information and an index in the back. It has a personal, family feel to it. I've already made 4 recipes and they are ALL delicious! I find that the ingredients are, most of the time, items I already have in. But for the items I don't, the book has introduced me to some new things, like Oatmeal Creamer, for example, in place of dairy creamer. I love it! And only 10 calories per serving so I use it everyday in my tea! I've also been introduced to Nutritional Yeast in place of cheese in some dishes, an awesome discovery I also love! So.... jalcruces: I found Mary's vegetarian "Food" cookbook to be exceptional, and my favorite comfort food book. Simple recipes that are easy to follow with great pics throughout. This is one step up from that book. This takes Linda's recipes and ideas and makes them full on Vegan. I am not a vegan, but will try some of these as is, but also can still use it with changes. The recipes are just a tad less simple than Mary's previous book, and the photography (of course), once again is exceptional. I've already chosen some "favorites" to try. I was looking forward to a follow up from the Mary and the McCartneys to the previous book, and this is it. Well done. Linda would be proud.
