nelson ny: The media could not be loaded.  i dont build stuff but i know how to read instructions. reviews was mixed saying its a pain etc some say it was simple.
my opinion was pretty simple instructions was fine. but you definitely need two sets of tools. ratchet sets. so having at least a rachet set and wrenches and size 10mm-19 mm and u fine
follow instructions. i messed up almost at end pair long bars connect pile and backboard. make sure two holes closer to board. just look at picture carefully. and for fill i saw video guy used a od 4" gripper plug found any hardware store or amazon7-8$ thats worked perfect. put against the base traced with marker . cut with excato knife. plastic thin cut easy. now i was able fill with wet dirt with rocks in it. and out some sand bags in top. you can buu amazon or hardware a 3" to 4" reducer. look like a plastic joint to attach pipes. 7$ or so. you use that as a wide mouth and exit funnel. so again wet sand no issue.
but cut hole as close to the angle in back. even on an angle. than be easier to fill. hell but a bigger plug. 4-6". to make easier. that way wont beed a funnel.
do u need 2 people. meh certain parts nice someone hold...

VickiLester: Bought this for my grandson to play in the driveway. Took all day to put together. It would help if the parts were labeled so you wouldn’t have to spend time trying to figure out which part is which. Like other reviews, we did experience putting together and taking apart because we did it wrong. That’s why it took so long. Afterwards, you have a good and sturdy hoop to play with and we are very happy with it.

Me: The assembly is very bad, it took me and another person 10 hours. The hole for the sad is very poorly thought out and its very small get more sand than you think youll need if your going with sand becuase you will lose the sand in the process. Id put sand bags or somthing else over the base alongside the sand filled up if you live in a place with bad weather. The assembly is very bad and you will need either a power drill or a mallet to put things in place you need a lot of force. You also need a table or similar for assembly.

The product itself is very good, the base is very cheap but the poles are very high quality, the backboard is alright, there is not too much wobble. The rim is very good, but the net is kinda cheap. Ive been using it for around an hour or two a day for about 2 months now and its holding up good, i will say the backboard is a little curved when its not spose to be. We have not gotten too bad weather even though I live in the midwest it can easily survive 20-30 mile winds, always put the product on the lowest height when done using. Im keeping it up for winter, if your using water you should use some sort of anti freeze. If its really windy or severe...

Robert harris: Oooookay...Now that we have it put together I must say this is a really well built, quality set up. I read the other reviews listing complaints concerning a tough and lengthy assembly of which I scoffed at as I have been spinning wrenches for decades and have amassed a rollaway of tools any mechanic would be proud of. That said, this 2 day 4-5 hour assembly was at times maddening. I would get something figured out and assembled only to have to disassemble it because of one thing or another. The directions at times seem good proof, with in depth illustrations and quite brilliant how they made most things so they could only fit just one way and only where they belong. Then other places its just down right confusing and of course when they give you too many of one bolt and none of another it leads to second guessing what your doing wrong until you figure out you need a couple bolts not there , which I had in my junk bins. Don't try to tackle this by yourself , enlist a friend that'd smarter than you to figure out the directions. The actual act of turning wrenches was quite easy. If you get this, and in my opinion you should as the finished product is well worth the money and time...

Amazon Customer: Takes some time to put together had to make 2 trips to home depot to purchase 4 bolts and works like a charm and stable and easy to lift and lower height good product and worth the money. Excellent and excellent on amazon for delivery early in the day.

Michael Shih: It is reasonably easy to assemble. I thought I would lose a finger or something in the process of assembling it. I kept all my 10 fingers at the end. The tricky part is that the 168cm screws and the 165cm screw look the same, but they are used for different places. If you use one of those in the wrong place, you are screwed. I mean totally screwed, because they can't be removed once they are "in". You may try hammering them out, but hammering may damage the threads and make it impossible to screw on the nut.

It takes about 6 hours to assemble it, if you don't make major screw-ups. My kids love it, and they play with it almost every day.

Tara McFee: The net came the day after I ordered it. That was impressive since I live on Vancouver Island. It went together very quickly (2 hours) with clear, easy to read instructions. The whole structure is very sturdy, and my 3 teenagers have been dunking on it like crazy, and it doesn't even move. Great buy.

Wayne: It took approx 3 hrs to set up. I liked the design, they thought of everything (almost). The holes to pour the sand is way too small. I had to opt for the water fill up. After filling with water and bleach, I placed the sand on top for extra stability. The handle to adjust the height is very easy, my 11 year old does it with no problems. The rim is equipped with springs just in case you want to dunk.
