ReaderX: I was pleasantly surprised at this little set for the value of cost.
Not sure how functional it is yet, will test when I have a chance to sneak out of town for camping, but based on quality of what is inside the box it might easily be 5 stars.

Vince M.: I should have read the size description better maybe but this hatchet is useless. It is so small that it basically couldn't cut kindling. It is very cute though - lol.

Tabascorules: I was doing a trip to the Boundary Waters and was looking for a small hand axe to take with me, and this fit the bill. I just got back and I am glad to say this worked out perfectly. lightweight and small but very sharp and great quality. This is not a hatched so do not expect to split logs with it. It worked great for breaking down small branches for kindling. It go rained on a few times but maintained it look and feel. I am very happy with my buy on this one.

jrbrazzo: Anyone looking for a compact 3 blade knife set and hatchet for light camping.... this set fits the bill. Thick tanged (5mm), sharp, and perfect for a variety of cutting tasks. Excellently constructed with nicely finished handles. Cannot beat the price for this 4-piecs set w/sheaths.
