LEZYNE Road Drive Bicycle Tire Hand Pump - High Pressure, Compact, and Lightweight for Easy Transport

R. Bloomfield: For what it's worth, I just purchased and compared the Silca Tattico with the Lezyne Road Drive (large), and in a nutshell, I'll be returning the Tattico. Though the Tattico is solid, it failed in three ways: 1) it weighs 53 grams more than the Lezyne 2) it's pump head failed to hold onto a Tubolto stem (which is important to me), whereas the Lezyne was solid. And most importantly, @100 strokes the Lezyne pumped 35.5 psi, and the Tattico a dismal 21psi. On the plus side for the Tattico, it doesn't get warm while pumping like the Lezyne does. But that wasn't enough to sway me. Regarding the reputation of valve stems unscrewing on the Tubolitos with a screw-on chuck (and other brands with the same valve/stem set up), Tubolito now glues the valve into the stem...and if (after releasing the pump pressure with the ABS button) the valve unscrews, the Lezyne has a built in valve stem tool.

cpcp: il est indiqué pour valve presta ou schraeder : NE PERMET PAS de gonfler les valves schraeder car livré avec un cordon presta/slip (slip etant un raccord presta direct sans vis). De plus ne fait pas 25 cm mais 30 cm. J'avais deja mis ce commentaire qui a curieusement été supprimé (???)
Sinon il s'agit d'une bonne pompe mais trés semblable au modele court (on ne voit pas la difference entre 7 et 11 bar)
Pour la première raison j'ai oté 2 etoiles

JR: This is a great pump. Recently on a road bike ride. I had a flat. I was able to pump up my high pressure tire in no time. little effort and able to get to level very rideable. almost to 100 psi perhaps. but tire was very hard and didnt have to twist my arm off doing that. i recommend this brand of pump

Karen Cooper: I liked this well enough I got another one for my MTB! I love that the flexible hose is stored inside the tube; that hose makes it MUCH easier to use than the chunky thing I started out with. As a newbie you learn the good and the bad...and the other was bad! This is GREAT! I have no problem getting enough air in the tire whether it be on my gravel bike or the MTB. Once I figured out how to use it, I have not had any problems and it has been handy helping others on the trail. Mine is for a presta only as far as I can tell.
It stores on the bike so nicely! It sits next to one of my bottle cages and I don't even know it is there. Very streamlined.
What don't I like? I can't think of anything.
Do I recommend and would I get another? Yes!

Maurizio: Bellissima pompa della Lezyne, fatta molto bene e curata nei particolari.
Direi che è di qualità sicuramente superiori a molte concorrenti e funziona davvero bene.
Piccola e leggera si posiziona sul tubo obliquo senza dare nessun fastidio o intralcio.

Tutte queste pompe hanno il difetto che riescono si a portare alla giusta pressione le gomme della bici da corsa, ma essendo piccole richiedono grande fatica e decine e decine di pompate.
Io sinceramente la uso per dare la prima forma alla camera d'aria, poi utilizzo una pompa a CO2 per gonfiare fino ad almeno 6/6,5 bar e poi rifinisco la pressione con una decina di pompate della Lezyne.
So che non è questo l'utilizzo ideale, ma provate voi a cambiare una gomma a Luglio sotto il solleone oppure a Gennaio con pochi gradi, l'unica cosa che vorrete fare è ripartire il prima possibile e l'uso della doppia pompa vi aiuterà in questo.
Comunque consigliatissima.

Kenneth Toyama: I bought this medium(the smaller size)pump for my road bike because:
1) it can share a water bottle mount with the water bottle
2) has a hose
3) is small and light when not in use
4) the Lezyne thread-on type air chuck
5) overall High-Quality build

I needed 250 strokes or so to inflate a 700x25c tire to a pretty firm feel but, the force required for each stroke was Very low. It goes by quickly. It replaces my Topeak Road Morph G, which has a gauge and is faster to inflate a tire but, monopolizes one bottle mount which I need for more water and is bulky in comparison.

I use this with the Lezyne HP Flow bottle cage with integrated bracket and have not tried the included bracket.

The One Glaring Flaw:
"The slip" doesn't work at all. The small hose has one chuck on each end for Presta valves ONLY: one is the normal, super reliable, Lezyne thread-on type and the other, called "the slip", is supposed to work without having to thread(spin) it on. It leaks much faster than I can pump. I tried it twice before posting this to pressurize an under-inflated tire. All it does is make the tire flat. I had to switch to the regular...

Vic "The Mechanic": First off i will admit this is my first mini pump. Years ago when i used to ride i used one of those long frame pumps with the hose. Got a tire up to pressure in absolutely no time with ease of effort. This is a first hand review, will post an update after actually using it along with a puncture. Reason for buying this pump were all the raving reviews online. After a short ride last week ended with a gashed tire and flat tube i had to ride 5 miles back on a friends bike with no shoes (did wonders to the bottom of my feet). After that i said no more and bought a patch kit, spare tube and this beautiful pump.

After receiving it in the mail with excitement i got the box thinking it was empty. This thing weighs absolutely nothing. 106 grams is pretty much the weight of your average tube. The size medium weighs 10 grams less. You get an extra 2.5 in of pump going from the medium to a large. Unless your carrying this in your jersey or back pocket then go for the large. The extra pump stroke will make it that much easier. My first try i attached it using the slip connection to the presta valve (useful if you have removable cores that aren't tight). Then attached...
