Amazon Customer: My main concern when deciding whether or not to buy this was how difficult it would be pump up to 60 PSI seeing as this is a small hand pump and I've only ever used large floor pumps before. Turns out it's actually no problem whatsoever to get up to 60 PSI, the pump works smoothly and doesn't require as much force as I was expecting to actually pump. The only problem is this is a really small pump so it takes a while to pump up a larger tire, and it also gets pretty hot where you need to hold it as you pump after a while. Other than that this is a great pump, super compact, super easy to carry, and it's a lot lighter than expecting too. It's great for quick top-offs to get to the right pressures, the built-in pressure gauge is definitely a bonus and it's accurate too.

Jeff S: Having used many “Mini” pumps I was expecting the same results: many strokes to fill the tire, gorilla strength to get to that 90 psi level, etc. This pump is not so different; however, the key word here is “many.” The other pumps that I have owned didn’t really last that long. They would last a year or two, and then I was off to buy a new one.

I do a lot of touring (according to my logs the frame has ~ 31,500 miles on her), so the pump sure does get a lot of use.
I think this pump will last quite a bit longer! It is made from quality materials, and the construction is top notch. Also, having the flexible hose is such a useful feature. Having the pannier racks to work around, it makes it so much easier to fill the tire. Also, there is less stress on the valve stem. It’s ingenious how it stores right in the body!

The built in sliding pressure gauge is so sleek. No bulky round gauges! That’s another piece of equipment that I haven’t got to have in my kit. When I first received the pump I had to try it out. I pressurized a tire to 90 psi using the built in pressure gauge, and then checked it with my trusty portable gauge....

Les: I've had this pump for a little over a month but have only used it a couple of times here at home just to test it out. Build quality, fit and finish is superb. I can't yet comment on long term durability, the pump sure feels and looks like a quality build. While not absolutely necessary for emergency repairs when not at home, the pressure gauge (integrated into the hose) is a nice addition. I bought this as a backup to CO2 which I also carry. I should also say that I paid full price for the pump and was given no discount.
The tires on my bike are 700 X 38 with the pressure range listed on the tires as 50 to 80 PSI. I keep the front tire at 60 psi and the rear tire 65. I never tried filling a tire from zero psi with this pump but from 60 to 65 psi it took about 20 pumps. Based on that I'm guessing it will take around 250 pumps or so to get it up to 65 psi in my 700 x 38 rear tire. Pumping certainly isn't as easy as with my floor pump or as fast ( I didn't nor should I expect it to be) but it is doable, just expect a bit of a work out. One minor issue I have when using this pump with my presta valves is as I screw the hose on to the valve the hose tends to...
