Sean R: This electrical stapler made running new electrical lines so much easier. No longer did I have to reach for a box of staples and a hammer. This made it so much easier to run and gun. Jams occasionally but better than hammer. Looking forward to the day where I can get the Milwaukee batter powered wire stapler. Until then, this will do just fine.

Staples never fully set
I’m am a proud owner of dozens of Kline tools and have been for 30+ years if other size staples where available I could see this as a pot and homeowner fav even if you need to give the staple a tap or two better. Than typical cable staples especially in tight spots

J. Becker: After suffering with a lesser brand that didn't work at all, I at least expected a tool from Klein to do what it's supposed to do. Yes, this thing shoots wiring staples. But it doesn't actually sink them into the wood, requiring follow up with a hammer to complete the task. And the downside to that is much of the time, the hammer distorts the thin staples. My goal here was to use my hammer a lot less because of wrist pain, but alas, that was not the case. Toward the end of the job, I just reverted to hand pounded wire staples which are reliable and I'll probably sell this thing on FB marketplace.

Daniel R Singleton: Bought it back in July and finally got around to using this today. I used their proprietary 450-002 Heavy Duty Staples because I was stapling Cat6 cable. I correctly set the tension setting lever to the proper position. I have tried to place 50 or 60 staples and well over 80% bent or barely entered the surface leaving the "fence" sitting oddly bent to one side and the staple partially exposed. Most were shot into drywall and some into wood paneling or trim. Despite being properly placed in the cable guide two staples somehow managed to actually pierce the cable! Luckily, those staples were both near the end of the cable and I'd pulled enough that I could cut and re-terminate the cable as needed. Garbage.

Ely: Klein tools is known for great quality tools so I bought this stapler due to their reputation. What a mistake.
I cannot understand why it is so bad to use. I waste about half the staples each time I use it. The staples just don't sink into material. It works ok, sometimes on sheetrock but I use mostly to run cat 6 wiring and if the staple sticks at all into wood, I have to use a lightweight hammer to get them snug. Most of the time staple just falls out or it punctures the cable. I have the same issues others have. First off, the stack of staples just lays in the opening, I have to slide the stack into a spring loaded piece inside of the area where the staples go. With most staplers, you open the track, put the staples on top and slide it back in and lock it. Not this thing. Even after sticking my fingers in the top area where the stapling occurs, I can start to push the staples back into this little spring track and guide the entire piece inward and lock it in place. Just looking at the staples and the are where the staple would come out you can usually see the staples are not lined up dead center. That's an issue because I have found the staple goes through a wire often. So I...

Brian B.: I should of looked at pictures more closely but this doesn't staple the cable tight against the surface. After the first staple I went back to using my haer and other type of staples that hold cable tight against the surface with no sagging between staples on a run.
I'll be sending this back, it's of no use to me running cable that needs to be tight against the staple insulation and surface.
