Kelsey: I love kitty caps! Been using them for years! Don’t declaw your cats please! Use these for the same effect but they are harmless for your cats. They can still “scratch”( a natural and healthy cat habit) without leaving any damage- the perfect compromise. Plus they’re really cute. Also perfect if you have a multi-cat or multi-pet family where you want to protect the other animals from an overzealous playmate.

Stephanie: These are awesome! My cat started scratching at the wall and I ordered these to try and they work amazing! They're still on after 2 months! Well, one fell off - but that's the one my husband did lol - all the ones I put on are still in there after 2 months! I would definitely recommend these! Sonomama: So, I have this kitten, whom my more-difficult-half refuses to allow outside, and she's shredding my rugs and carpets and drapes. I don't know how she does it, but every morning there is a piece missing from a rug or there is a hole in the berber on the stairs, or I find tufts of rug fiber in random spots around the house. Also, she chases feet and jumps at your legs and climbs the damn drapes and she's a bit of a terror, if I'm being honest. But I love her almost as much as I love my husband so I am trying all kinds of things to solve this problem.

She is not a fan of scratching posts (carpet or sisal) or those cardboard scratching things or any other surface I put in front of her. Only flooring and drapes and human skin will do. We have tried keeping her nails trimmed (something else she dislikes) and that helped only a tiny bit.

Then I found these crazy little nail caps. They. Look. Ridiculous. And they work, once you get them on which is about as easy as you might think gluing plastic caps to a kittens' nails might be. Actually the first time was pretty easy. She held mostly still and I only glued two of the caps to my gloves (you must wear close fitting gloves...

ShadyLittleStarShadyLittleStar: I was hesitant to purchase these nail caps, but I'm truly glad I did. Our new kitten is about 10 weeks old, 3.1 lbs. I purchased the XS, which is supposed to be good for under 5lbs. We took her to the groomer to have these applied and ran into some trouble. These caps are BIG. They could probably fit an adult cat with no problem. We wanted to give her the freedom to retract her claws (like it said on the box) so putting them on the way they came wasn't an option. I don't even think we could have. After trimming them all down with scissors to about half of the original size, we were good to go. One thing we did notice that wasn't specified - The caps are all different shapes and sizes to fit different nails. So it was a slight struggle to figure out which cap to fit which nail since there was no labels, but we did it. The pack came with 3 tubes of glue, and 2 thin attachment nozzles for the glue so it can easily be squeezed directly inside of each nail cap. After we got them all on everything was perfect.
