Kindle Customer: So much better than the nail trimmers I had been using. I like the feature that limits how big of a cut you can make. If you have a wiggly dog, this is a great feature. The handles are easy to squeeze and hold. Wish I had bought this earlier in my life with dogs.

Lorraine: I ordered these clippers to have as a spare set and didn’t open and try them until 4 months after purchase ..sure wish I would have tried them right away. They are not sharp! I only did 3 nails on my little dog and all three it just sort of “crushed and cracked them” . They are made well, nice and sturdy but that’s about the only good thing. Don’t waste your money on these dull clippers.

Katy Krupp: I have nerve damage in both hands, and was worried about being able to safely trim our son's dogs' nails on my own. One dog is a Shepherd mix with long thick nails, and the other is a Boston Terrier mix with shorter narrower nails. These clippers are very comfortable and easy to grip and make a nice clean cut on the first pass. It may have made a difference that I bathed the dogs first to soften the nails, but the clippers performed better than expected. I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 because the lock will not stay engaged, but unless there is a little one who could have access to them it doesn't matter to me as it doesn't affect performance. The only thing I would suggest is to keep checking to make sure that the guard is where it should be before trimming each nail. Just by the design and action of opening and closing the clippers, it has a tendency to move a bit with each pass. Again, not a problem, just be alert. These are the best pair of clippers I've had through 3 decades.
