"Kitopa Freestanding Punching Bag: 69 Springs for Heavy Bag Boxing and MMA Training"

S.F.S.F.: I've only been using this bag a few days but so far mostly good. The only reason I give it 4 stars rather than 5 is that I am a bit concerned with how deformed the bag already is after just a few short sessions as seen in my first picture (blue line is for a straight reference).

Assembly was easy, other than the sand. I used an impact torque driver for all of the bolts which made quick work of things. As seen in my second picture, I used a "FloTool 10714WR Super Quick Fill Funnel" (available on Amazon) to fill the base with sand & it helped tremendously, however, you can also see that you will have to prop the base up on something to have any chance of getting anywhere close to 180 pounds of sand into the base because, as you pour in the sand it just builds up in the base & begins to block the funnel.

Even propped up on a jack stand, the funnel will get blocked so you will need to put down your bag of sand & rock the bag back & forth to get the sand to settle & make more room. Lena: UPDATE 11/19: Once I left the initial review on Oct. 15, the company contacted me and asked if I would change my star rating only if they sent a replacement base; I agreed. I received the replacement base in about three days from the time they said they would send it. Although the question on our end was why it took me posting a review for them to offer the replacement knowing I'd never received the first one, in the end I can appreciate that they tried to correct the overall situation. Based on that, the quality of their product and the ongoing and friendly customer service, I am changing my rating as promised from 3 stars to 5.

ORIGINAL POST, 3 Stars: I ordered this product Sep. 4 and was told it would arrive Sep. 21. The punching bag *only* arrived Sep. 11 - not the base. I called Amazon to inquire about the missing base and I was told that sellers sometimes split shipments in half if they are heavy and asked that I try to wait until the original 21st arrival date. SUNSUN: Light to get to where you need it in the house. Lots of bolts to hold the punching bag to the base so you can be sure you want break it no matter how hard you punch.

The padding has good resistance and there's a good swing to the bag which helps you get in to a punching rhythm. Better than the swing of a normal punching bag.

The challenge was to fill it with sand but I found a solution worth sharing. Two bags of kids play sand is enough and if you have an empty large persil bottle you can remove the bottom of it and use it as a very functional funnel (see third pic). There's plenty of space to fill the bottle with sand and the lip of the dispenser allows it to stay in place so with some gentle knocking the sand will go in. Took less than 10mins to get this full and its well worth the effort as the base becomes solid and allows the bag to be really secure.

They don't advise filling it with water as still water gets a smell after a short time, wouldn't be ideal for you.
