Brionne Desabrais: i got the keys in mid summer and they worked fine. the fob is a little weak in the range but functions all the same. the only problem is now in the winter the transponder in the key won't work unless you warm it up just being in my pocket is not enough i must hold it in my hand till it warms up for it to function. other than that they are fine

G. Walls: Avoid no chip in the key and. you still have to find a programmer (100.00 plus) to make it work. Did I mention that it had no chip? So, no chip no programming.

Donnie Tuck: I initially had two problems with the keys that would have caused me to write a less than stellar review. One was that the clerk at the locksmith shop properly cut one key and improperly cut the other key. Using the instructions I was given by the locksmith clerk, I was able to program the properly cut key to manually lock and unlock the door, as well as to crank the engine. However, I could not program it to lock and unlock the door remotely. Unable to return both keys, I felt that I was stuck.

The locksmith attendant ordered another key from the company's regular vendor and the locksmith delivered it to my house. He took both keys and programmed them to work with my Ford F150.

I would like to note that Keyless Option provided a small strip of paper that advised me to search for a local locksmith to program the keys. Thinking that I was intelligent enough to do it myself and wanting to save money, I did not engage the locksmith other than to cut the keys. In the end, I saved over $200 because the local Ford dealership wanted $300 parts and labor for just one key. And, the price of the two keys from Keyless Option was less than the price of one key from other vendors...

Elifonso M. Nava Jr: Both my wife’s 2014 Ford Explorer original Ford dealership key remotes became damaged after 6 years. After pricing the key, remote, chip all in one at the dealership it was clear we weren’t paying their outrageous prices. I spoke to a insured, and bonded professional locksmith from our area and he directed me to buy them here on Amazon. We love the prices we got them for here, and he charged us a super good price to cut the keys, and to program them. The uncut keys here came in new packaging, sealed, and unused which is great, but the only thing is that once the locksmith cut and programmed the keys and remotes the remotes wouldn’t work because the batteries they came with were dead, but once he put new batteries in them they worked right away. This product is A+ same as our original keys, no problems. We are so happy with everything. Thank You so much Amazon you are 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with us.

JulieJulie: My OEM keys were starting to fail on me, buttons wouldn't work and wouldn't unlock or lock remotely. I tried this replacement option attempting to avoid the dealer price but I was out of options. These keys worked beautifully, they programmed in less than 1 minute and I'm so excited that I saved $220 per key. You have to have BOTH original OEM keys in order to program any spare keys. I had Home Depot cut my keys but 1 didn't cut properly because their machine was not made to cut these new model keys - their machines cuts their keys only. Recommend finding a local locksmith to cut the keys the old fashioned way. I lost 1 of the keys due to HD's machine cutting it wrong - but that was my fault for asking him to try again on the 2nd key. Most National Chains don't want you to bring keys for cutting - they want to sell you their key (HD sells theirs for $69.99 per key). Overall so happy to have gotten replacement for this price and the programming is so easy a caveman can do it !

MesaGuy: Neither of the two keys in this 2-pack from KeylessOption (RemoteRemote.com) would program. I followed the procedure outline in the Ford User Manual for the 2013 Edge (which is the same as the majority of 3rd party online videos). These keys simply will not program (after 3 repeated attempts for each of the two keys, 6 attempts in all). The keys are paper-weights and were returned. They cannot be used to start the car, because they will not be successfully programmed by the vehicle's programming mechanism. (I have two good original keys, and used the 1st key in, OFF->ON hold for 6 seconds, remove, 2nd key in (after 3 second wait), turn to ON, and hold for 6 seconds, then remove. Then wait 3 seconds, NEW key in OFF->ON, hold for six or more seconds. At seconds, the car should have programmed the key, and generally either beeps or chimes. Instead, the 2013 Ford Edge on screen display shows a START SEQUENCE error each time that key programming fails. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE KEYS. (Sadly, from the same vendor, same manufacturer, I was successful with two (different model, different vehicle Ford Explorer) keys. So go figure. But this key model, which says it works with 2013 Ford...
