Anita: I replaced my ignition lock cylinder on 1998 Chevy Astro Van and it had a different key than the doors. I couldn't use the door keys because it made my pass lock system confused so i couldn't lock the van until I got these and programed them to the van. Works like a charm. No more confused pass lock system. Very easy to program. Just google it and it will should be very easy install. Thanks
