Jordan: Doesn’t always work when pressed even after reset. Then all of a sudden works again. I’d try another brand next time.

Andre: I got the key cut had it programmed, but not all the functions work. The lock, unlock and panic features all worked but the remote start simply unlocks the truck (possibly a bad key) I didn’t bother sending it back for a refund because it can open my truck now and start it. I thought about buying another key to see if it might just be a one off. Time will tell.

Ozzie: I was finally able to get this combination key/fob cut for my truck and since I have two (2) OEM keys I wouldn't have to pay a locksmith for programming. I was able to program the keyless entry no problem but the chip inside it will not program to my truck at all. And since I'm past my return date I'm stuck with a key/fob that ain't worth the plastic it's made out of. Absolutely ridiculous! So a word to the wise, should you opt for an aftermarket key/fob make sure you get it done before your return date expires and then hope you don't catch crap from the seller regarding your return because the key has been cut. And as an added bonus, don't even think about reimbursement for the cost of having the key cut. It's all just a bunch of garbage and another way for dirtbags to get your money.

Valarie Mathes: Worked great at first, was easy to program but now 6 months later it had completely stopped working, replaced batteries ECT. Very bummed, I really wanted to like this product

John b.: I used it to cancel "my key"on a ford truck I bought.it did the job but none of the remote buttons work, just keeping it as a spare key for the drivers door and ignition.

Kelly v: First for the price - this key FOB is a suitable replacement for the factor FOB. But for many people who sent theirs back due to it not working, it may be simply due to poor instructions. I found a couple of big issues. First - there are 2 steps to programming these FOBs in a 2010ish Ford or Lincoln vehicle. You can find them elsewhere in the reviews - but both are critical. The first requires 2 working sets of keys and is commonly documented. This step programs the key so it works in the ignition. BUT - this does not program the actual buttons on the FOB. For that, you have a process that requires you to get in the car, with the door open, press the button to unlock the vehicle. Now put the new key in the ignition and turn it from off to run 8 times quickly (in under 8 seconds), leaving the key in the run position on the 8th cycle. You should hear the locks cycle in the vehicle to tell you it is in program mode. Then on the key fob, press any of the keys to program. If successful, the doors should lock again to acknowledge the programming. At that point, you should be all set.
Now here is where I ran into the unexpected... After having the second part of the process fail a...

MatMat: Went through the programming procedure using forscan, erased all old keys and used one remaining key and this new one to program. Procedure went fine but this key wouldn't program properly in my 2015 super duty. The key itself took and was able to start the vehicle but the buttons didn't work. As such the factory key when inserted would lock and unlock the doors each time, indicating it was still in programming mode. I tore open the key after this and found the chip to be very cheaply made, and the chip is glued into the case rather than attached to the board like the factory key is. I ripped the chip out of the case, and used the board from another key I had that was damaged, placed it into this key I bought and then redid the programming. worked flawlessly that way. So the internals of this key are questionable. Also, the quality of the key material is borderline brass, there is some steel in it. I went to a locksmith and he was super Leary to cut it as he said the steel damages their machines, it was only ever so slightly magnetic tho so he took the risk and cut it. Otherwise he said most cheaper keys are full of steel and he won't even cut them. At $35 it's the cheapest option...

Cenla Cathy: My Sport Trac had a key and then a separate fob to open the doors. I wanted to have fewer items on my keychain and this key helped. I was able to easily program the key to start the truck, and then (separate steps) also program the key to lock/unlock the doors. Steps for both tasks are below. The key works perfectly, and I'm happy that I was able to able to do the programming myself rather than paying big bucks to the dealership.
For a 2007 Ford Sport Trac XLT:
To program the key to start the truck:
1. You must have 2 keys that are already coded to start the truck.
2. Take one of the already coded keys and put it in the ignition.
3. Turn it to position 3 for at least 3 seconds, but less than 10 seconds.
4. Within 10 seconds, take the 1st key out of the ignition and put the second pre-coded key in.
5. Turn it to position 3 for at least 3 seconds, but less than 10 seconds.
6. Within 10 seconds, take the 2nd key out of the ignition and put this new, uncoded key in.
7. Turn it to position 3 for at least 3 seconds, but less than 10 seconds, then take it out of the ignition.
You should now be able to start the truck with any of the 3 keys.
