Bookchild: I like this because it matches my retro kitchen and is in red... but you need both hands to pull only one or two sheets from the roll. There is no anchor to hold the towel roll in place while you're pulling, so often you get a lot more towel than you need. I tried it with a larger roll but it did not seem to make a difference.

T. Sanders: We really like our new paper towel holder. It's very sturdy & holds the thicker rolls. I like that it has 2 places for the towel to come out, but the surround so that it doesn't unroll all over the place. We bought the red one & I almost took off a star because it's not a true red, it's really maroon. But, we like it so much we can live with this shade. The finish is smooth & shiny & it's easy to pop the rolls on & off.
