LMG: Jazzy, a charismatic young woman with psychic powers meets three older women and within a few weeks, is arranging for the four of them to take a whirlwind road trip together. They hardly know each other! Although Jazzy tries to keep her psychic gift under wraps at first, she has the wisdom to follow her instincts. Soon her traveling companions see that she has a gift, realize that there are too many unexplained coincidences and are seeking her counsel. All three of the older women has an interesting & believable back story including the tragic loss of a loved one. Sharing experiences and baring their souls during the trip bonds them and helps each confront their grief and loss, giving them peace of mind and a more positive outlook for the future. Jazzy's personal life takes a turn in a promising direction as well. Great book! At times funny, at times sad but never boring or predictable. I have read other good books by Ms. McQuestion but this is the best so far. Would highly recommend!

Kim Tucker: I couldn’t put this down and I was very sad when it was over!! The characters are so loveable and the plot moves nicely, it has just the right beat to it.

Deb: I follow Karen McQuestion though Facebook and a group called My Book Tribe. I enjoy the way Karen writes and takes us on a journey with each book.
I loved all of the characters in this book, they’re portrayed so well! It’s a story of self development and new experiences for them all. Laverne has to be my favourite though. Coming out of her shell like no one expected!
The women, who are more or less total strangers, get in the car belonging to one of their spouses and make a trip like no other they have gone through before. They learn a lot about each other and the story is comforting I found.
If you like a story of women’s camaraderie, this is a good book for you!

Kindle Customer: Got into the story really quickly ,all the main characters had a story to tell ,what would have been sad turned into hope and love and trust .these women barely knowing each other end up intertwined in each other's lives and basically rescuing them all from a sadness ,thoroughly enjoyed it

B & E Haynes: Most people who like to vary the subject matter and pace of their reading, finding a place for high drama thrillers to something more gentle, often though there is little available to fill the gap between the two extremes; The Long Way Home tends to fall into the more gentle area, but is no less satisfying.
The story is woven around four women who meet up by accident, or is it an accident as one of them has psychic powers? When they embark on a road trip to Vegas it is not for the bright lights or gambling, but to find the stepson of one of the four. Here I hesitate to give more detail as it would spoil the enjoyment of readers to give to much away, but believe me when I say this is an absrbing novel that you will feel happier for having read.
It has also encouraged me to find other adult titles by Karen McQuestion from the Amazon publishing house.
