I am not sure how long an item like this is supposed to last but, I bought mine 10/6/20 and on 10/6/23 (just a few days ago) i noticed it was not moving. I tried moving the switches, direction knob and checking the power. The adapter still has the red light indicating power on the plug.
It worked flawlessly up until today.

Love the winder. I have a few moderately expensive winders but wanted a small unit for the kitchen just for my daily wear. Very impressed for the cost. Looks nice, quieter then most and we shall see how it holds up but if I get a year for this cost it’s money well spent.

My husband has two Rolex perpetual motion watches and he was always asking me to set them as they had stopped running because he did not wear them enough. When the jeweler recommended an automatic winder, I was very happy , as I was not even aware something like that existed. We bought the double winder. It is in an extremely attractive case, has either electric or battery operation, and runs very quietly. The site offered 2 choices, Type 1 or Type 3. I think the Type 3 is a newer model and that is what I ordered. I would recommend this for anyone who has perpetual motion watches with an issue of wearing them enough to keep them running.
