glenn taylor: The book contains alot of useful information on health matters. We are currently on Day 3 of the plan and it's going well. The meals are good and mostly pretty tasty. I find that the book could have been much better organized however but otherwise worth exploring.

Eurofloyd: I gave this my best shot and stuck to it for 5 days. I went through several days of feeling nauseous and had a headache which I put down to the withdrawal which was expected. I felt OK on day 4 and stopped feeling sick and didn't really feel too hungry but I did notice my muscles were aching and it was harder work just walking around. By Day 5 I'd lost nearly 5lbs but I was feeling really weak and my normally easy bike ride into work was really hard. I wasn't too hungry as I guess my stomach had shrunk by then but I just felt the need for something to give me some energy and strength. I think the quick weigh loss goes from the muscles and even my fingers and toes felt weak plus I looked pale and had dark rings around my eyes. I can't believe this is healthy and goes against the book's claim that you will feel amazing and energised!. Also I felt so down and irritable about not only having to give up sugar, bread, dairy, caffeine, alcohol, and grains but I couldn't even have fruit! I am usually an occasional meat eater but I don't really like eating it all the time and felt I needed to eat a lot more meat and fish. Gabs: I m a very big fan of Dr Mark Hyman s work but even I didn t believe this would work. It sounded too good to be true. But for 10 days I thought there is nothing to lose. I m not particularly overweight but I can never shift the last few kgs to get me where I should be. This book did it for me.I couldn t believe the scale everyday. I m on day 7 and already lost 4kg and without going hungry . The recipes are easy to follow like grilled chicken with herbs,nothing too time consuming but yes u do have to cook. And you also have to be willing to go without gluten diary sugar alcohol and caffeine .The first 3 days were not that great as I m a heavy coffee drinker but now I ll never go back to it.The supplements he suggests are also easy to find in UK . He also has options with what to do after you completed the 10 days .I think it s worth giving it a go if you are happy to stick to it to the letter. It worked for me.

Amazon Customer: I have lost 14 lbs., but it is still hard to do. I have been able to get all of the vitamins, but can only try to eat according to his plan. It is very good to realize what foods are very bad for my health, and try to avoid them ... which is not easy, because of the food industry we are living with. I do my best. Amazon Customer: First off, let me say, I am not a man. I won't be reporting a 30 lb. weightloss in 30 days. Not happening. I'm a 49 year old, pre-menopausal woman. I had 3 kids in the span of 5 years between the ages of 37 and 42. Not an easy task at that age from a weightloss standpoint. After my first was born, I did WW and had no problem taking the weight off. After the second, it wasn't so easy and after the third, all but impossible. I've been a vegetarian for 30 years and a vegan for 3. I know a lot about nutrition, or at least what the nutritionists have told us was right. I'm not at all blowing smoke when I tell you I eat around 1200 calories a day and workout 4-5 times per week doing vigorous workouts. None of it mattered. Nothing worked. Nothing.
I went to my primary care physician and had a long conversation with her about my unhappiness with my weight. Terry Field: I'll put the summary upfront: using the principles and plans in the 10-Day Detox Diet, I lost 12 lbs in the first 10 days, a total of 21 lbs in the first 30 days and now 30 lbs total in the first 50 days. (Update: as of August 2015 I've lost 60 lbs total). In addition, my overall feeling of health and my energy levels increased greatly.
A little about me: I'm in my mid-fifties and am a relatively big-framed guy who stands 6'1" and weighed 310 pounds when I started this plan. That was about 110 lbs overweight as my ideal weight is about 200 pounds (it's been a long time since I've been there so I'll let you know for sure when I get there).
This book was recommended to me by a life coach I was seeing. I purchased the 10-Day Detox Diet, read it thoroughly and loved the sound science and principles behind the ideas. Following the plans in the book, I prepped my refrigerator and pantry, purchased vitamin supplements and fiber pills, tapered back on Dove dark chocolates (my main addictive habit), picked the day I would start and jumped in.

mobi: I finally got round to doing this eating plan as I was spiralling out of control with my eating and drinking.
I followed it strictly for 20 days and am still on it now but more flexible.
I lost 14 pounds in 6 weeks , well impressed.
Took the suggested supplements , and ate most of the suggested foods , the protein smoothie for breakfast was very filling , and very nice , I’m still having it now !
Initially I felt dreadful but my aches, fatigue, cravings, mainly for alcohol and crisps went quite quickly.
It’s now 7 weeks in and I’m very happy with my dietary changes , and realise wheat is a big trigger for me causing my joint plain.
My blood sugar levels have normalised and have been within normal range from the 10 th day.
Energy levels are increasing and I expect they will continue to improve.
I fully intend staying on this plan , with maybe the odd treat , but extremely happy with the progress.
Highly recommend giving it a go if you are a pre or diabetic type 2 .
