Johnny collinsJohnny collins: Got this as a Christmas gift, and came in without the power supply. I had to get a new one sent and return the other one. Simple mistake especially from a Chinese manufacturer so I let it slide and I’m glad I did, because this light is awesome! You can tell the difference between the Joyhill on my 40 breeder and the crappy blinding white LED’s on my 10 gal. Definitely going to grab one of the smaller Joyhill ones for that tank seeing how bright and vibrant it makes the hardscape, gravel and plants appear. I do Wish the remote had more settings. Seeing there are multiple dimming settings, I wish the light could gradually dim itself throughout to day. I also wish there was a way for instead of having the timer shut off after x hours have it switch to the blue lights. In itself for the price this light is a steal.

BigD1967: The light runs hot enough to burn your skin but possibly wrong type power supply because light didn’t come with one. Very disappointed in quality control. Also, the power switch has to be wiggled to turn light on.
