Ashley deBoer: This is a great hamburger press for the price. This is super heavy duty and works great, it’s also cast iron so it’s great quality. This changed our hamburger game on the black stone. Just make sure to spray a bit before and to not leave in water as it will rust. I always just make sure to rub with a little oil after cleaning it for when it’s not in use. No reason to buy black stone brand for double the money this works just fine.

KaylaKayla: Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, but was extremely disappointed when it arrived covered in rust and the handle being chipped and not nice. We hoped it was just surface rust and we tried to clean it off, but seeing that it was deeper than that, we just went out and bought another one.

dennis: This press could be a little larger and definetly heavier it is pretty light Not sure how durable the thin wood handle is going to be. Cannot be used on the barbeque the handle will burn.

barb davisbarb davis: I would have rated this five stars but it did come with a chip in it does not affect use but I much would have preferred that not to be there. Works well for bacon paninis etc it does have screws in the side of the handle so you can remove it and treat it in your oven I don't find it too heavy but heavy enough works great would recommend.

Wird sowieso wieder gelöschtWird sowieso wieder gelöscht: Die Jim Beam Burger Gusseisen Presse hat einen Durchmesser von ca. 17,8 Zentimetern und ist 1025 g schwer (Foto).
Damit kann man hervorragend Burger, aber auch Steaks oder Bacon auf dem Grill pressen.
Durch ein leichtes anpressen wird die Grillzeit reduziert und man erreicht einen gleichmäßigen Garprozess, hier aber darauf achten, dass nicht zu fest gedrückt wird, sonst presst man den Fleischsaft heraus und das Fleisch wird trocken.
Durch die gerillte Fläche und leichten Druck bekommt das Grillgut gleichzeitig noch ein schönes Streifenmuster, das sich relativ tief einbrennt.
Das Fleisch wölbt sich nicht und die Patties bleiben flach und werden zur keiner Bulette.
Der Holzgriff aus wasserrestistentem hellem Parawood-Holz soll in der Handhabung vor Hitze schützen. Das ist aber bei einem geschlossenen Grill nicht der Fall!
Er wird sogar sehr heiß und kann anbrennen (auf den Fotos zu erkennen).
Ich nutze hier noch einen geeigneten Hitzebeständigen Grillhandschuh.
In die Spülmaschine sollte die Jim Beam Burger Presse besser nicht, denn sie lässt sich einfach mit Warmwasser ganz schnell wieder reinigen.
