The Manhattan Job is the third exciting instalment in the Spider Heist series by Jason Kasper. When the first book popped up on my social media feed it immediately grabbed my attention- so I didn’t hesitate to purchase a copy and set off on the adventure- which then had me scrambling to one-click the rest of the series to stay on my reading ‘high’.
The entire series is everything I could have hoped for, and so much more. With adrenaline-fuelled, action-packed crime thrillers that hooked me and had me completely invested right from the beginning.
It is addictive reading, especially if you love exciting, edge-of-your-seat heist reads. With a professional ‘heist’ team, high stakes jobs, the FBI, cat-and-mouse-games, prison breaks, intense situations, twists and turns, suspense, mystery, adventure, tension, police/FBI procedure, danger, emotion, gripping storylines, agendas, and superb characters/character development- this story/series is one you certainly won’t want to miss out on.

Bill Byrd: Great story line, intricate plot and terrific character building. The elaborate details of their heists is captivating and just makes you want more. The characters have gown and developed - and it looks like maybe a new team member will be added. Great way to keep the series developing and exciting. A wonderful read.

jayne wright: Amazingly researched in the world of crime and tools of the trade involving heists. The story lines are crazy but actually believable making it hard to stop turning pages while devouring the nail biting, hang on to your seat chapters!
In my opinion, the Spider Heist series is explosively exciting and Jason’s writing style is masterful!!!

Ann Purchase: The series of these books keeps one enthralled until the last page I was kept engaged through all 3 books and was disappointed when the finale came excellent author have now started reading his other books

Kalena2960: Can I just say this one had me holding my breath and re-reading paragraphs and pages because I had to make certain I got that right. Just seriously intense. Still waiting to see exactly what kind of unholy mess is finally going to be bestowed upon the despicable Jacobson. Is he going to remain untouchable long enough to hurt Mrs. Defranc. And Mr. Big Shot...oh he's been pushed over the edge. We thought Jacobsen was bad news. I have a feeling we haven't seen anything yet. Bring it Jason, can't wait to keep reading of Sterling's crew.

Heyweb: I didn’t review the other books in the series, I will simply leave a review here and put stars on the other books. I will say that this tale is a page turner, once you get started it is very difficult to find a good place to stop. I suggest you begin reading early in the morning so you will have most of the day to finish. If you start in the late afternoon it may be a long evening. One thing to get used to with these books is there is a LOT of narration. I’m not a big fan of books that are heavy a narrative, but there are times when it is valuable. This book is a great example of the heavy use of narrative and yet the story unfolds in a very compelling way. If you’re looking for a thriller, you like good guys and bad guys,and you like to see a good thief fighting against the odds, this book is a great read.

Alan Downunder: This new book is fully another level of development perfection! All of the principle characters are fully developed with there own unique foibles, characteristics and most importantly their own strong personalities. Instead of a ragtag collective of characters, they are strong individual personalities who contribute to the whole story in a wonderful way! And what a fantastic story! Each twist and turn like a Roman Candle going off in a burst of bright colour until the next one!

The voices of the characters a fully assertive and confident even in their periods of self doubt. No longer the loose cabal of friends by coincidence, they are now a firmly committed team with each other’s personalities to deal with to succeed.

The next books in the series will only be icing on the cake of a sensational new book!!
