Sophia L.: It’s bright, they weren’t kidding. Whenever I look at it it’s like starring at the sun. Or getting a flood light reflected off a glass into your eyeball. It’s (personally) very bright. Especially if you have a glass lid, that just makes it so much stronger. I put a tinted Saran wrap to make a hood cause it’s so bright. Besides that, it’s great.

CMarieCMarie: I bought this little light because my tanks original cheap little lights went out and holy cow what a difference! I have some Anubias and Pothos cuttings in there so I wanted something that might help them grow and thrive. It has only been in there like a week and the anubias already are moving toward the light and the pothos have a ton of new roots. I was so happy as soon as I turned it on it is SO bright and beautiful. My tank is only 2 gallons and I have seen complaints that it is not bright enough but I don't see how unless they didn't read the description and tried putting it on a big tank. It is beautiful. My tank has a lid so I couldn't use it how it is intended with the little plastic supports, so I just sat it on the top and I will eventually attach it to the inside of the lid with Velcro. It is SO thin and sleek which makes it perfect for this. I could just leave it on the top since it's so thin. Over all I love this light and am considering buying more for my other small betta tanks. I hope it lasts!

YK: First of all, it is only 7 inches by 1.5 inches in size. The clips that comes with is so loose around the light. So, the light can't be securely positioned unless you tape it.

No one can say this light is powerful as it barely lit the half way of my 3.5 gallon nano tank. The tank is only 9.5 inches high and this light won't reach to the substrate. I have 3W LED that provide way more light output than this fixture. If it wasn't for my mosses and culls only tank, I would have returned it. No plant will grow under this poor lighting.

Kasey: Great quality, very bright. My jungle val has taken off since I put it on. Two things, though. One is that it does not fit rim of your standard aqueon tank. I didn't measure mine before I bought it, I figured I could rig it. And it does sit on there just fine, but I'm sure if it were bumped it would fall in. The other is that if you're putting it on a tank on the edge of the described length of the light, it could very easily fall out. There's nothing to hold the light in the mount. (For size reference, it fits sideways on a 5.5 gallon.) I'm going to put this light on a 2 gallon shrimp tank and get a bigger light for my 5.5 betta tank... Also, I don't love that you push a button to turn the light on. I know a lot of lights are like that, but I worry about water getting into it.

Overall, though, I love the light, just not on the setup I bought it for. Strongly recommend for small tanks.
