John: They have a flair on the end where the plastic bumper is and I don't think that will fit on it again if you cut that off. I'm sure they did that to help keep it on, but others don't have that and stay on fairly well.

DKinney: Just as described! They are studier than the ones of yesteryear! Quietly stops the door from banging the wall. QUIETLY IS THE KEY WORD! Used to put flat plates on the wall but STILL when the door knob hit the plate it was too loud for me and found myself "looking" to see if there was a dent in the plate or the wall. NO MORE! Went back to the old way with the stop on the baseboard and life is quiet and NO dents or dings where the door knob hits the wall. HAPPY and would buy again, but these will last forever!!

Vincent Barone: Not toddler friendly as claimed. My grandson needed only 12 seconds to remove the top cap and put it in his mouth. That was the only reason why i bought this particular product.
