JayPat Griffith: BLUF: Due to headphones getting in the way and different issue in the ear, I recommend Isotunes Advance Bluetooth, Axil GS or something similar.

If you care to read my long winded comment…

I am probably similar to everyone else hear where I have tons of different types of ear protection. Thus, this is my opinion and I have no grounds as a pundit. I will say I take my hearing extremely serious due to the fact of my age and I have a lot of life left; I want all my senses to experience it.

As previously stated, I have or have had all types/ models of ear pro: plugs, foams, headphones, and in the earbuds. Since, I shoot Multigun I am always refining my setup which includes my ear pro. As you stated, when mounting a long weapon, I may jar the ear pro or the ear pro may impede in mounting the weapon correctly. I shot matches with my Peltor headset for awhile; then I switched to plugs or foam buds. Plugs were great to prevent hearing injuries but were extremely uncomfortable in my ear canal. Foam plugs could fall out or I would want to ‘chew the fat’ and take them out. I have to put the foams in my ear canals specifically to creat a seal which because tedious....

Robert Palomino: I walk my dogs every day and I wear earbuds when we walk. But when someone talks to me I have to pull one out just to hear them talk.

Josh Becker: I have used these while operating a large variety of powertools right next to my face. They've spared my ears from gunshots, road noise, trains, airplanes, people on airplanes, people in coffee shops, and my family too. I enjoy being able to bring some of my sense of hearing back using the built-in amplifier. The amplifier isn't a spy gadget which can listen in across a busy street. However, it does make it so I'm not completely losing one of my five senses when I put these on. I'm able to hear with and without these headphones because of these headphones.

I tried riding my bike while wearing these. The road noise is gone but more so than I want it to be gone. There's a sweet spot in the sensitivity settings where an approaching car can be heard from a comfortable distance without amplifying the sounds of what I'm riding over. I don't consider them safe for wearing while cycling with traffic. The road noise is worth hearing. This advice applies to all headphones.

I didn't know about the amplification when I purchased these so I thought my pair was broken until I found the amplifier settings. If you're hearing pops and clicks regardless of activity, turn down the...

Amazon Customer: Very good product while they work but seem to have lasting problem as one side or the other get static and go out in a year or less with frequent use.

Bernard Haylock: Nice produce but the ear bud selection needs to have some smaller sizes than suppled

Fluffy Thor: I am still getting used to these but I do like them. They actually fit in my ears which I stuggle to find (I have smaller ears). They are pretty senstive though and even a gentle tap on something initiates the sound blocking mechanism. But it doesn't interefere with anything and I actually appreciate the regular reminders that they are working. I noticed that when I took a shot at my turkey this year, it was way better protection than just the little foam ear plugs.

Justin T. Stephenson: These are good in-ear hearing protection earbuds. They allow sound from the environment to pass through and effectively attenuate percussive or environmental sounds that can damage your hearing. A++.

However, there is a serious issue with the stock in-ear tips. None of them fit quite right, and they are all extraordinarily uncomfortable. I was going to send these back as a result.

I decided to try Comply tips that I use for music in-ear monitors and have found to be very effective. It took a while to find the right size, but these earbuds are 100-Core Size Compatible. You can find 100 core size comply tips on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B008PF0YD0. The Comply tips are properly heat activated and expanding tips, unlike the absurd ear-canal-pain-wedge-foam of the stock tips.

With the cost of the Comply tips, these earbuds are $200+. I might be worth looking around at other solutions. These work well for me now, though.

Magaz: I bought these primarily as bluetooth headphones, but also wanted some active ear pro for work and shooting.

I have owned them since August and they have so far served me well. they have been used daily for long periods. So this isn't a review from just unboxing them, connecting them to my phone and going "yeah their alright"

They have pros and cons. The pros are they are relatively cost effective and do the job they say they will. The noise cancellation is great if they are fitted in your ears properly. The active mics make hearing conversations in an other wise loud environment relatively easy. However, there is a distinct and audible "click" if something really loud is picked up and the audio is actively dampened. This also happens in wind. If you plan on using these with the active audio I would recommend fashioning a "dead cat" for each of mics.

Audio quality with a phone for calls, music, podcasts and audio books is pretty good. The voice quality on calls isn't the best I've heard. But it is certainly serviceable.

The removeable inserts for your ears come in several sizes and I would like to have seen a smaller size than the smallest (for my...
