Rocque B.: I purchased these for my husband since he enjoys going to nearby pistol ranges. They were given excellent reviews by employees where they sold similar brands so we purchased these. We followed the directions for molding them but I noticed it was not a flush fit. Perhaps we did not have the proper seal for his ears.
He said that they did not cancel out the noise for him.
I do not want to give it a bad review since it was no problem to return these and get a full refund even though we did complete the molding process.
However, I did not want others to be disappointed if I said they worked when they didn't. At least they did not work for my husband. He is 6'4" tall and his ears are proportional to his height if that makes any difference (or sense).

Eric: I’ve been tightening down 1” and 1 1/8” bolts on a bridge with a 3/4 drive pneumatic impact for a few weeks now. The disposable earplugs the company supplied weren’t quite cutting it. I’d go home with ringing in my ears. These have ended that. They work very well at dampening the sounds but still allow enough that I can communicate with my coworkers without having to remove them. I was worried that they might get shaken out (that impact shakes your whole body lol) but they stay seated rather nicely. The bonus is that they have high fidelity filters available that you can swap out for live music. As a musician, that sounds like a great idea for jam sessions and whatnot. Haven’t actually tried those filters yet, but I like that it’s an option. Don’t be worried about spreading the material too thin at the top when molding them. I spread it pretty thin into the nooks and crannies of my upper ear to try and get them the most grip I could. Didn’t hurt them at all. Can’t beat them for the price as far as I'm concerned.
