Milan: performs well when cutting shim from .001" up to .025".
doesn't leave a significant burr when cutting thin gauge and powerful enough for thicker material up to .025 and possibly .030".
what i like about this is the ability to cut multi-directional, reducing the chances of the shim slipping between the blades of the shear

SYLVAIN BELANGER: I bought these to cut gauge 20 metal studs and you should be very strong to use these on them. I tried on gauge 25 metal studs and this was better but definitely don't cut like butter in this type of material. I guess they should not be used for metal studs.

Armageddon: I read another review that mentioned these were large. I have large hands with long spindly fingers, I laughed out loud when I took them out of the box. These are tremendously oversized...but they work so well. I use these to cut galvanized steel roofing panels, these cut through it like a hot knife through snow. You might have trouble using these if you don’t have large hands. These appear to be durable and made of quality material. My hands are large, so I can use them well, I love it, but always make people laugh when they see it. I hope this lasts a long time, but 10/10 would laugh and buy again for the price.

Will Burgess: Absolutely the best snips on the market. If you do a lot of aluminum cladding these are the ticket. They work great on vinyl siding as well. Love them.
