Mark VI: This tire tread gauge is surprisingly well-built and works as expected. It’s easy to use and the color codes make reading the results easy as well. I particularly appreciate the carrying bag it comes with, which will help preserve/protect the glass. I would recommend this gauge.

TM: Comes in handy. I use it before I take our cars to maintenance. It matches the Service results. I also check on occasion to determine if its time to buy tires.

Jason K.: Initially, plunger may move stiffly. After a couple days use, plunger loosens up and more easily. Dial can pop out to adjust needle for calibration. Way better than any pocket depth gauge. Have compared this new gauge to many other depth gauges, it really opened my eyes to seeing how inaccurate the pocket tread depth gauges are.

Richard A: This tire tread depth guage seems to be fairly accurate and not too difficult to use. Taking multiple readings from the same and different areas of the tire gives a reasonable estimate of tire wear. The price is reasonable as well for this type of product.

D. Puterbaugh: Pretty basic, but works well. Very easy to read. I am very happy with this. Some people mentioned that it would be nice if it had a protective pouch. It does, but you have to look carefully to find it.

Brendan: Ordered this product for our videographer to use to display tire tread depth to customers. Gauge was on the higher end of the price scale but the quality seems to match up. The 'Green/Yellow/Red' is easy to read and understand and displays easily on the video being sent to customers. Would buy this product again.
