Matt House: This device will give consistent results. It is easy to use (without air leakage around the point of contact with the valve stem). It has large, easy-to-read numerals and divisions on the face of the dial, and it retains the reading (without "leaking down") after you remove the chuck from the tire and read the meter. It only releases the locke-in reading upon depression of the release valve. My old gauge would give a different reading if you read a tire's pressure multiple times. That doesn't happen with THIS gauge. You get the same reading EVERY TIME!

G Sharpe: Gauge is compact for storing and gives accurate readings. May be more difficult for some to read as it’s not digital.
I like the length as any longer to me would seem unnecessary. Fits nice in glove compartment for away from home pressure checks.

Just a regular person: I'll just admit I've been using junk gauges all my life, like those little pencil-style things that are impossible to read. My last one was digital and I thought it was a step up but after being in the trunk for a few years it was completely dead when I needed it. It probably had parasitic draw that killed the battery but there was no way to change batteries, and I wouldn't have wanted to find some obscure button battery that's going to die in another few years, even if it did.

Anyway, that's all prelude to say that this gauge is magnificent. Here are all the key points I like:

- No batteries!
- Very large and easy to read dial, and seems accurate (no way to verify that.)
- The tip swivels so you can get the best angle.
- Gauge holds its last reading (remember to reset it between tires!)
- Has a built-in bleeder for letting a little bit of air out.
- Case has rubber anti-shock design so it would probably survive a fall onto concrete.
- Dial can be held a foot or so away from the tip, in case of tight angles.
