InSassy Garden Kneeling Pad for Comfort and Protection

Vicki: I rated it 5 stars for "Light weight" because I assume the lighter the weight, the better. But actually, it was too light. I already had a kneeling pad for cleaning bathroom floors and I love it. I just wanted an additional one for another area in the house. My old one is a little denser and larger and heavier, but still very light. I now realize I like this one so much more. As I'm placing my knees on it, it doesn't want to "float" off as does the new one. The two pads are identical in thickness and both protect my knees but I prefer the old one.

I guess first of all, when you decide to manufacture something like a kneeler pad, you should consider what the purpose of that kneeler pad is

I'd say ( and I freely admit, I am NOT a professional kneeler pad expert. I can not testify in court with any certainty of being granted expert status ) that the purpose of a kneeler pad is to provide a level of comfort and pain-free assistance for those of us who have to kneel for some reason, and perhaps experience pain during kneeling on hard surfaces i.e. hard wood floors, cement, asphalt, steel beams... you know. hard surfaces in general...

Then, I'd try to determine perhaps lacking a MOS hardness scale, how hard it feels to the average person to kneel on hard surfaces and probably even get a few people that have a definite problem kneeling on hard surfaces.
At that point, I'd maybe get an idea as to what level of hardness or softness your product should have in order to provide at least a good level of comfort, but hopefully an excellent level of comfort...

Amazon Customer: I picked out this kneeling pad to use during bath time with our new baby. There are many “baby bath time kneelers”, but the products being sold for that specific purpose were much more costly than this garden kneeler. I am very pleased with how this foam has held up, and have had no issues with my knees hurting during bath time since using the pad. It’s very lightweight and fits next to the tub or behind the door very easily so that it’s out of the way when I don’t need it. I highly recommend this product and it has worked well for our purposes.

Danielle: This knee pad gets the job done. I bought it for using in the garden and so far the foam has stood up to the rough dirt, rocks, concrete, and pokey weeds of my rental property. It's lightweight, small, and easily tucks away in the patio or garage when not in use. Also great for cleaning bathrooms, bathing pets or children, or really anytime you'll be putting pressure on your knees for an extended period of time.

Personally I like the ones that have a protective layering around the foam, usually a shiny plastic sort of look. I think they feel more liquid resistant. For the price though, this one gets the job done.

This is the first time ever using one of these, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It does make a huge difference to have this under my knees or my butt...no more bruises! It's thick enough for me as I'm quite thin (I'm ill), it would be fine for people who have some meat on their bones too! It's made well. It's die cut out of a sheet of the padding material, and the padding material is sturdy. I will update this as I use it more if anything changes..for better or worse. If I had one con on this...mind you this is my first one (smart buy) I wish it was a little longer, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I am pleased with this purchase!
