Extra Thick PEP STEP Kneeling Pad - Perfect for Garden and Baby Baths

Alchemist Tom: I was confused by the large number of positive reviews combined with a large number of very negative reviews. Mostly people either thought the softness was just right, or they thought it was as hard as glass. So, I have nothing wrong with my knees. I'm 65 years old, male, and weigh 155 lbs. I didn't want a pad that had my knees sinking through to a hard surface below - had one of those, hated it. I can see that for people like me, and heavier, this is a great pad. For those with fragile knees, maybe even arthritic knees etc, this is not the right pad. For those people, you need more cushioning and I'd advise trying something at a local store.

William: Others have said here that they found it to be a bit stiffer than they expected it to be. That was a selling point for me. I am only 150 lbs but I bacically have to fall down the last six inches or so. Any ( I have two others) will work to soften the hit. But this one works best, and especially on rough surfaces or rocky ground. AND, it's bigger than others I have, so I can get both knees on one pad comfortably.

Gerald Burgos: This was thicker than expected, but that is OK. great on the knees to kneel on. I got this to be able to do situps, because the floor, even the carpeted floors, with a shag rug, hurt my back. Old age, you know... this pad protects my back, however it is so thick I have to fold up a blanket to place next to the pad so when I am lying down, my upper back is not "falling off a cliff"... why don't I use the blanket and not get this pad? because the pad is sturdier, yet pliable enough to give a little and still protect my back. It springs back as opposed to a blanket that gets flat and has no springback. Kind of like when you run on those newer rubbery tracks vs asphalt. And again, the extra use as a kneeling pad.

Spencer Thomas: I really like the size of this kneeling pad because my knees are not hanging off the edge and getting dirty. I'd give it a five-star rating (and the seller) if not for the fact that the foam is quite stiff. My burning knees still burn while using this pad alone. Instead, I also use a smaller, softer pad I have on top of this one. On the other hand, it feels durable and should last a good while. Pleased overall. And if your knees aren't too bad I think you'll find it very good.

Joy Buckelew: I purchased this to protect my knees for when I bathe my newborn in the tub. I also plan to use it for workouts. I liked the thickness of this kneeling pad which is why I bought it, however it is a lot harder, pretty stiff, than I thought it would be. Maybe over time it will soften up the more I use it, the more it’s broken in. If you have sensitive knees or have had knee surgery, this may not be the one you wanna go with. Overall I like the thickness & how light-weight it is.
