kat6496: The cupcake (cake) mix, as prepared, was so dry. It wasn't great. But it was o for we keto folks wanting chocolate. The frosting container expanded and popped in shipping. It was ok, but had a residual taste of chemical. When refrigerated, this frosting became ROCK HARD. Overall, I wouldn't but these again.

Directions are off. I had to use a pie pan and cooked it for 29 minutes vs the recommended 33-37 minutes.
Taste the frosting before you use. We found it to be really good for being keto, but I can see how some people think it's too sweet.

GrifftheQuinn: I stopped eating processed sugar a while ago so this is exactly what I've been looking for. My wife and made it as cupcakes and they were amazing. I've read some of the negative reviews on here but I didn't have any of those issues. It's important that the frosting is at room temperature and you take your time spreading it. I'm personally a cold cake person and like to refrigerate it and my wife likes them at room temperature. The fact that I'm able to have cake and icing without sugar is still pretty mind-blowing to me. Obviously if you're comparing it back to back with regular cupcakes, it might not taste the same. But for people who have kicked sugar, this was a pretty amazing buy.

SK: I have been gluten free for 10 years now and am used to things not tasting exactly like glutinous sweets or even having the same mouth feel. On that note I think this product is lovely!! Easy to mix, easy to bake (which is huge bc back in the day you used to have allllll the floors etc to make Gf products) and easy to eat! Buy it and enjoy it 😍
