Mickey45: This book really kept me on edge until the end! Will Farli stay or leave with Mardock? Will Mardock stay or go? Very nerve racking!
Then when I eventually get the answer..... it changes at the last second!! Ahhh.....lol!!
The knowledge that I now have tells me how the series can continue when Farli was the last unmated female!!!

Avidreadersbc: I loved Farli's book. Loved the glimpse of the universe beyond Not-Hoth and how it works. Can't wait to read Bek's book next!

LacrYmosa Wolf: This book brought out a lot of excitement and a bit of anxiety. I also loved that we got to know more about the sa-khui’s history and their actual species name! Like holy crap that was a great history lesson. And I do love history!
Character breakdown;
Farli: I have always adored Farli did not know what to expect of her and certainly did not expect her to be such a dirty dirty girl! lol. But I loved seeing this side of her and how well adjusted she was. It brought me great pleasure to see this side of her.
Mardok: I liked him for a bit then he got selfish, it was funny to me how he described things to Farli of his world but did not see how terrible an idea it was to have Farli go to his world? I will confess to wanting to smack him upside the head, lol, at least he changed his mind.
I have so many things that I want to know about the history of the Sa-Khui and what will happened with Bek because wtf dude! Apprehension is real! But as always the author did her thing here! 8.3/10 ⭐️

T. Lewis: I like how the author has kept my interest in the Clan on a Siberian wilderness planet!
However…..who ever did the blue alien photo covers on the series didn’t pay attention to details! They dont have five fingers like the humans! Guess they thought no one would notice LOL!! 😜😝 I was checking out the other book covers.

Yeriwithaj_: Her story is beautiful. It’s wondrous and I loved every second of it.
I do feel like Farli was infantilized quite a bit by Mardok with the mentions of her innocence and whatnots but it fit the story.
Mardok was a difficult character for me to fully enjoy but once I did I loved him too.
The other idiot can burn in a fiery pit, and so can their captain.

Heather Hacking: Seriously, Farli’s story is one of my faves! Hard to believe the 11th book in a series would be so epic and yet, here we are!!!! Can’t wait to start the next one.

Pia: Farli (member of the Sa-Khui tribe, big blue Aliens on an iceplanet) wants to escape the bachelors of her tribe and goes on a hunt. There she finds a spacefreighter and sees Mardok repairing the engine. Her Khui (Khui is a parasitic symbiont, which enables his host to breath the slightly toxic atmosphere, keeps the body healthy and resonates, when it recognizes the right mate) resonates to Mardok. Mardok comes from a highly developed civilization and from his time in the military he is panicking at the notion of being left behind because this was a severe trauma for him. In spite of loving Farli he would not stay with her on the iceplanet, so instead he asks her to leave her family, her tribe and her pet behind and leave with him ....
Farli has such a beautiful character, friendly, loving, curious and open minded and free. Mardok is haunted by his military experiences and sees the crew as a family equivalent in the past three years. Otherwise he hasn't any family, friends or lovers. He has conscience, is a good mechanic, works out his body, has a sense of duty and was so long deprived of love. But he still has to come out of his traumatic shell. Farli is a happy character and...

Susie T.: What an EPIC read this book was devoured it in a day and a half and that's because I have to sleep lol.
Upon reading the blurb I wasn't sure if id enjoy it seeing as Farli's possible mate was an alien I kept imaging some weird looking guy so I couldn't have been happier to be proven wrong and having LOVED this book as much as I did. This story just draws you in and keeps you prisoner until its been finished, Farli and Mardock's story is purely romance at its best, their connection is instantaneous, their spark undeniable, the heat between them palpable. Farli was an utter delight to read she was kind, caring, giving, understanding and brave a women who's beauty radiated from her inside and out. And Mardock what an amazing leading man he was strong, courageous, deliciously alpha male possessive and protective, loving and SEXY AS ALL HELL (just love a man with tats) and even though he had some horrible demons within him from his past it couldn't change the good hearted man he is. I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK, their love story was beautiful and heart warming with a very sweet and endearing ending befitting them both.

Allenfarm: I’ve read all of the original characters. The ending has Bek asking visiting traders for slaves. I’m not going to keep reading. Wasted enough of my life on these. I think alien porn is not my jam.
