Alexandra Encarnacion: And here we have another great story! I'd wondered at Harlows story. Since the last book ended on a cliffhanger, I was eager to find out. I was not disappointed. I recommend this story to anyone that likes happy endings.

Mickey45: Harlow is trying to get some injured people back to the tribal cave when she is kidnapped. Her kidnapped looks like the tribe, but he doesn't act like them. He even says that the tribe are bad people.
How Harlow deals with her situation and the eventual ending make such a beautiful story.
You Have to read this!!

Avidreadersbc: This is actually my second time reading this book. Loved revisiting Harlow and Rukh! Can't wait to read the next one.

LacrYmosa Wolf: I didn’t know what to expect with this book, I knew it was going to be different and it definitely did not disappoint!

Character breakdown;

Harlow; I liked Harlow so much I thought she was cool af, I felt for her when she revealed her tumor and her not having much time to live before being stranded on the planet. I also admire her patience with Rukh because that required plenty of it lol.

Rukh: I didn’t know what to think of the male but upon getting to know him, his mannerisms etc I already caught the twist of who he was. I loved his development and how he realized what his father had done not just to him but to his entire family. Because he and Harlow and little baby NEEDED the tribe more than they would ever think.

Favorite quote: “We will stay. Our son will need friends. You will need the healer. And I,” he says, grazing his thumb over my mouth. “Will always need you. A male cannot exist apart from his heart.”

This book had me laughing, crying and gasping at every turn, couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want too. Here I thought that Liz and Raashosh were my favorite turns out I have another lol. 9.5/10 ⭐️ recommend!

Crystal Ortiz: Harlow's story was just absolutely precious almost like Iiz story she falls in love and resonates with Ruhk who seems to be an outcast. He doesn't speak his peoples language and so Harlow has to struggle and teach him and as they go they fall for each other.

Spoilers after this : Harlow does not want to go back to the tribe she thinks that she let the other three die and so she's scared she's been outcast from them and thinks it would be safer to stay with this stranger

Ruhk never had the tribe he was told they were bad and to stay away and he grew up alone no one to speak the language to him or raise him he had to do this all alone and when he instantly sees Harlow his khui wants Harlow and so he kidnaps her and takes her back to his cave but he doesn't even understand what is happening either.

Together they get to know each other learn each other's needs and wants fall in love with each other. They make this happy life for a year by the water all is going well she is pregnant and than Liz and Raahosh find them and they have to go to the tribe for medical reasons but everything falls into place as usual . The best part of the whole story is Georgie is still...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/5
I think this installment into amazing ice planet world was most intriguing for me.
We have Harlow who disappeared in previous book and her tribe is thinking that she is dead. But in reality she was kidnapped by Rukh. And he is kinda hermit with strong hatred toward our tribe and his vocabulary is almost nonexistent.
Why we were taken? Your guess is correct one, he got this resonance vibrations, panicked and decided to act before asking question (funny, how he couldn’t even ask if he tried).
So Harlow needs to teach him how to communicate, what’s the differences between them, make him doubt poison words of his father and, for sure, how to fall in love.

So cute, intriguing and fun.

Karmen Tovar: I enjoyed this book more than the previous one. Let’s start with that. The entire series for me thus far has been kinda meh but fun and quick reads. That's how I'd describe them: fun and not so much thought provoking. This was particularly good because it broke away from the rest of the tribe and we got to see more of Not-Hoth and experience more than just being stuck with the same characters and settings we know. There were parts that just didn’t click for me. Like these two have resonated and mated and yet there’s a point where Rukh is still questioning if he would join the tribe of the “bad ones” if it meant staying with Harlow…. For him to come to his realization by watching animals just felt weird to me. Before this he was so devoted and in love with his mate but he won’t listen to her or just decide to stay with her because of their love? Weird, didn’t care for it. I know it’s drawing a parallel between him and his father and then breaking up Rukh’s connection with his father as the perfect male and father but it was too much. Otherwise I really did like reading this book!
