Kodi: My dad is struggling with Parkinson’s, and his balance is lousy. He has fought against any sort of support, but he had at least looked. I picked up a Hurrycane a year or two ago for their stability, and it has proved itself. Dad is using it more and more, and he requested this one. It’s similar to the other, but it has a broader base for more stability. Apparently there’s also a little different feel to it, but just a matter of getting used to it. So I suspect we’ll start seeing him use two canes at once.
Sturdy and great stability. I recommend.

SarahG: Since I was crippled by a grievous mistake in a 2016 spinal surgery, I’ve tried at least six other canes, and I’m now on my seventh, eight and ninth — ALL Hurrycanes! I’ve purchased 3 because you never know when you’re going to stand one somewhere, and walk (hobble) away, forgetting where it is.
I’ll never use another kind of cane. Hurrycane is extremely helpful to keep my balance.

Melissa Schloemer: I bought two of these canes for my father-in-law, who is going through issues that is taking his independence away from him and he is a very strong willed person who has never had to slow down these canes help him get around and be able to save what little independence he has left after going through hip issues and knee issues after once being a very independent Person I would highly recommend these for anybody that’s looking for assistance getting up and walking.Just because you need assistive devices does not mean you’re any less of a person I am so grateful for this company who had this and if you’re wondering if it fits if it holds people that is not the standard size it does. I highly recommend these and I bought two of them for him.

Wandersforever: The Hurricane is widely touted as a great cane.
It is good but I found the all terrain tip is untrue. It doesn't do better than a single tip cane for all terrain use.
How can one lock it so it doesn't disassemble at inopportune times?
Color is pretty. Cane stands alone well and this feature was helpful for me.
I have seen other cane tips with a similar design to this one that work better for adjusting to different angles while walking.

Julie: I've been using this for about six weeks now, on the advice of a physical therapist. Functionally, it does what a good cane should. It was easy to assemble and provides good stability and support.
But the cane began to squeak after a couple weeks of use. Eventually, I discovered that the bottom platform/"foot" of the cane had loosened its threaded connection to the shaft of the cane, and this was the source of the squeak. I seated the foot again and tightened it and the noise went away.
This week, the squeak came back. Sure enough, the foot was loose, and I had to screw it back on. All this in only a few short weeks makes me wonder how long the thing will last, if it's not made better than that.
