Amazon Customer: Bought this for an elderly relative who fell and needed support to walk. This was easy to adjust, very stable and helped him be more mobile. This is a K-shape (not X) so nice to be able to swivel the base to allow to make it suitable for the left or right hand. The K is helpful to avoid kicking the based while walking.

Happy Customer: This cane is really nice, great quality. The base is nice and wide making it very sturdy (once you purchase the rubber caps). The ergonomic handle and wrist strap are also nice. However, just as many other reviews stated, it arrived with 3 of the 4 rubber caps for the base missing. Disappointing to know that you have to go out and make an additional purchase order to use it. Rated it 3 stars for stability due to the missing caps on basr. Unsafe without the purchase of caps.

Kirk: There is a lot to like about this quad cane--and some things that require getting used to. It is very sturdy--much sturdier than another slightly cheaper cane I bought that was so wobbly I considered it unsafe. But it's heavy, probably too heavy for a small person or anyone with significant upper body weakness. And for anyone like me who has relied on a single-tip cane for some time, there is a definite learning curve. At first, I tried to simply move the cane and plant all four feet before I took a step. That left me feeling unbalanced and it's a very slow process. With a little trial and error, I discovered that by moving it forward, planting the back two feet and rocking forward onto all four as I moved (sort of a rolling gait), it was more natural and gave me a much steadier feeling than my old cane. The approach that worked for me may not work for others with different needs, though. Because of the size of the foot, it's definitely awkward in tight places, too.
