Wally Shangle: I like the concept of their water line clamping, but it falls short in practice. As you screw the clamp onto the water line, it pushed the line back over the hose barb and it pops off with water pressure. If I push hard on the line as I screw the clamp they seem to stay on, mostly. I may end up using hose clamps. If you don't mind that a work around may be necessary, they are a good valve.

Dan TeeterDan Teeter: The red handle used to close/open the valve has a poor design such that it can easily pop off due to pressure in the pipes. My local water pressure is not unusually high, but the valve popped off anyway. While I was on vacation, temperatures reached the low hundreds, which may have contributed (but a valve of this sort should be able to tolerate those temperatures). When I returned the handle had popped off of one of the valves and the daily water cycle was blasting out like a geyser through the opening. These valves are junk, I will be throwing out the remaining valves from my order.

Taz195Taz195: I have been looking for these for a long time as either the barbed/compression fittings are difficult to reuse at the end of the season. I stumbled upon this while doing my searches and took a risk given the absence of ratings but couldn't have been happier. No leaks and these allow me to turn my big garden into zones. Go ahead and choose these over the barbed/compression fittings.

NetMorin: I used these valves with some 1/2 inch RainBird drip tubing. There are at least two legs of tubing on each sprinkler circuit. I used a valve on each leg to balance the pressure. I'm using small sprayers that dump more water than a regular drip emitter might. Each spray head does adjust, but, easier to use this valve to balance the pressure down two legs on the circuit.
I used a head gun to warm the tubing before sliding on the valves.
I would definitely recommend and would buy again.
