Get the most out of your watering system with the Axe Sickle Set of 50 Drip Emitters! Andre N.: I am using these in an outdoor setting, in raised beds, containers, and in ground plants. The spray range is good and they deliver a fair amount of water when fully open, serving me well in most cases.
But, if you only need a small amount of water, adjustment may be tricky. They are not really meant for low volumes/low flow. I wanted to use them in self watering pots when I was away for an extended period, but found that the setting at the bottom end of the range was iffy. One click would go from nearly off to almost a half gallon/hour, which was problematic in a self watering pot/container without drainage.
They have proven durable and I have not had any fail despite having many of them in use for months now. I happily recommend them to anyone looking for simple irrigation spray nozzles. The integrated spike means that they don’t easily fall out or down and stay in place, and the adjustable flow allows me to water wider areas lightly (for larger pots or raised bed coverage) or limit flow to a smaller area (good for small pots or the base of an individual plant).
I will buy these again and I recommend them to others.

Colin G.: Do these emit water, yes. Are they easy to install, kind of.
I was looking to take my micro-drip game to the next-level as our raised garden has expanded. We have tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkin, cucumber, beats, peppers, etc. What I've found is that drip is great, but some plants really need a sprayer, and some need a localized stream of water. I, incorrectly, thought I could do both distributed and localized water streams. While you can get a larger radius of water by turning the top of the drip emitter; it just puts out way too much water.
If you're trying to perform drip irrigation with these, they work okay. My frustration has been the inconsistent flow-rates. You can turn the nozzle 3 clicks, and one will drip at 1/4 gph and another will be flowing freely at 2 gph. If you slightly pull up on the screw cap, it also affects the flow-rate. So if you want, or have the time to actively manage the emitters you can get a consistent flow. These shouldn't be used for things like lettuce, where you want to spread out water distribution. They do work well for tomatoes and peppers as you can open them up a bit as the weather gets hotter to put down more water.
I don't...

Xeliose: I purchased these to change out my existing Rainbird adjustable drip heads. Those were working fine but I wanted the ability to stake them near the plant. Overall these are not bad but with a big caveat.
1) They do not adjust well all the way down.
For example if you are like me and you have various plants on the same irrigation zone that require various amounts of water therefore you adjust each head accordingly these do not adjust to a small trickle. It is either all ON or OFF. They adjust gradually between medium and fully opened but not if you just want "a little" water. When I did that on mine the line burst/popped. I tried it again with a little bit more water (so less of a restriction) and again it disconnected from the main line watering my entire lawn in the process. So in THIS regard they do not work as well as the more expensive Rainbird or Orbit brands sold at the big box store.
2) The other problem I encountered (like other reviewers have pointed out) is that the barb that goes into the 1/4 line is bigger than a usual one so it's harder to push in and therefore more likely to break in the process. I was able to get all of mine in without breaking them...

J Smith: Drip line doesn't hit a large enough area for me in the raised beds. These are great as you can adjust the water flow to each head.
