Luciana: It took me a while to find a box that could also fit diplomas and legal size documents. This worked perfectly! Has enough room for important documents and a few extras. My main objective is to keep it protected from fire and able to carry it all in one place, so added a fireproof envelope inside too and it all fit.

MW: I went to set it up for the first time today after purchasing it several months ago, and the digital locking mechanism does not stay locked. After following the instructions and setting up a new code, it does not remain locked when you lock it - you are able to just turn the dial to the unlocked position and it will open without having to enter the code to unlock it. Making matters worse, the emergency keys do not work - they fit in the cylinder but will not turn. To cap it all off, when you call the customer service number in the instruction manual, you get a recording saying that they are too busy to answer due to high call volume that day and it asks you to leave a message and wait for a return call.

Kevin: This was purchased for a dorm room. Buy a small lock as there's a tether that can be wrapped around a more permanent object and then be bolted to it with an additional lock. Digital code is good, also has a key option too.

It's not a bank vault but at about half the price of other right-sized boxes I looked at with more impressive specs I figured it was enough to secure contents against casual snooping, impulse burglary, and most fire and water mishaps. Just right.

Shannon Brown: This is the perfect size for our needs. We wanted to replace the other portable clunky, heavy, safe with key entrance only with one that was digital and keyed. Either or. This is perfect. It the size of a briefcase and is lightweight but sturdy. I can actually put paper and legal size papers inside without having to fold them. I added on the suggested waterproof money/documents bag. Great addition. So far no problems opening or closing. And there are no HOLES drilled into it like most. It does have a cable for securing but i wanted something that i did not have to bolt and could grab on the run if needed. Its padded inside and personally IMO built very nicely for the price.

Amazon Customer: Using this for a medication lock box in my mother's assisted living residence. She has Alzheimer's and isn't allowed access to her medications to keep her safe.
The locking knob will keep her out but it appears flimsy - like I could break it open if I forced it. However, for what I need it for, it will do the job.

Barefoot Selkie: This is at best a fire proof case, calling it a safe it stretching it. It appears to be made of 0.5-1.0 mm steel and would take all of ten seconds to pry open with a good sized screw driver or pry bar. It was thin enough that I could bend the metal with my bare hands, I didn't try anything else as I didn't want to damage it as I ended up returning it after opening as I needed a safe rather than a fireproof box.
