Mark TwainMark Twain: What a pleasure to purchase a product that exceeds expectations. I wanted to hate this steamer, becasue that's what I usually do. They never seem to work well, but this one surprised me. Do not fill all the way to the line, just a bit below, and it will not "spit" water. I learned that after the first use, and afterward it worked perfectly. Nice hot steam, so do be careful of the front "grill". This is not a toy. It is a tool that does its job as well as the user knows how. Do not blame this steamer if you don't get great results. The photo is a pait of new curtains that arrived with very stubborn creases and wrinkles. After a little work, this incredible steamer and I had them all smoothed out and looking good. I would even recommend it for silk, as long you don't overfill, and let it heat all the way before use. Great product. I was not paid to say these things. I love the product.

DLeon86: Works perfectly for steaming my uniform pants and shirts. Also great for eliminating chemical odors too. I mainly bought this because my uniforms had a very strong chemical odor upon receipt. Only two options would be to let them air out naturally (which woukd have taken days) or to steam them.

The odor was gone pretty much instantly after steaming them. No waiting period. Which was important since I had to be in full uniform the next day after I brought them home. I've used it to steam other things too and it's wonderful.

For the people claiming it's not enough time or it isn't useful around the home, it absolutely is, just not for heavy duty stuff. It's small and not meant to tackle super heavy duty jobs. Get a larger, regular sized steamer for that. This is a mini handheld travel size steamer, meant to just "refresh" things for you.

David: Admittedly, I don't always fold my clothes. I keep this on my bathroom sink for those days where I wake-up and find the clothes for my day lying in a pile on the floor. I plug this in and in little more than a minute it is already boiling. I keep a hanger on my shower to put my clothes on when steaming, and I'm walking out with fresh, wrinkle-free clothes.
WARNING: take their advise and Do Not fill above the max line. I checked what it would do and boiling water shoots out the top.
The wire is a bit of a con for two reasons 1) The wire is generally a bit of a pain when steaming. 2) It takes extra room in my suitcase.
Out of 10: I always rate for value and this makes a 9.5 out of 10 . For me, the only inconvenience is the hefty wire, but the price largely makes up for that.
