Amazon Customer: This is a minimal sight at a minimal price. It sights in well, seems to hold zero, but that is had to tell, as the screws that hold the sight to mount were quickly loosened up under recoil. It is a very small dot (which I like), but it is not "daylight bright", almost. This was to be a back up or side sight and may still work for that. Probably best for an indoor airsoft gun and not an center fire gun that will be used outdoors in bright light.

Ronald E. Townsend: Easy to install and easy to zero. After a couple of mags though started getting loose from the Phillip head screws coming loose on the high rise mount. Took it home and tighted them up and hoping they won’t get loose next time I go to the range. Btw one of the 4 screws were missing. Still feels like a sturdy build.

C. KiehlC. Kiehl: UPDATE: I decided to return both red dots. I'm sure the company may reach out, but I do not wish to keep using them. The units were not defective, and both held zero well. However, I used my own brand new Duracell 2032 batteries, and not the included batteries as some have said they are DOA. Even on the 7th click, brightest setting, outside they can be seen against a target or even the sky, but they're not quite bright enough for my purposes. I don't like running them at their max setting just to see the dot. Otherwise, they're good, if you don't play on using them in hardcore bright settings. My two cents. Otherwise, everything I've covered was fine with my two.

This red dot review will cover only the initial stuff, and some questions I myself had, that seem to need clarifying or the manufacturer has made some positive updates. I WILL be updating the review once I have gotten some range time on it, and let people know if any issues arise. I did pay for this unit today, and it showed up within 2 hours, so good on Amazon for that speedy delivery. Steve G: Appears to be a clone of my Romeo 5 (also made in China). Turned on, no issues, brightness works, no issues, color change works, no issues, glass clear, housing and mounts of good quality. No extra securing screws that affix the mount to the body of the optic. Screws affixed very tight and not easy to remove to change mount. A hex head would be preferable to the cross hatch screw head pattern which can easily deform and the instructions do not indicate exactly what size tool to utilize to adjust. The instruction manual is very poor. No indication which way to turn windage and elevation turrets in the instructions and unless you use a magifier you cannot read the direction to turn arrows to adjust windage and elevation. Instructions advise to use the top of the caps on the windage and elevation turrets to adjust the screw, but the caps on the unit do not have any raised portion on the caps to accomplish this and no tool is included to make the adjustments for windage and elevation. The only hex tool that they include is to tighten the base of the unit to your pict rail. Additionally, it does not appear that lens on the unit have any optic coating.
