Amazon Customer: I purchased two of these red dot sights after doing quite a bit of research. I was mainly looking at quality vs budget. As I have made the mistake in the past comparing budget vs quality. These sights are an exceptional rugged sight that have held zero. I have paid hundreds more for lesser quality. The AT3 RD-50 PRO Red Dot is a sight I will be buying again. As far as customer service AT3 is second to none. I am glad I did the research and found this site and company. SWC: I bought this a little over a year ago when the price for the dot & riser was $79. That was a good deal then. It's a nice red dot and good quality, but the price has now jumped up to $99. Now it is with in $18 of the cost of a Sig Romeo 5. For the small extra amount I think the Romeo 5 is now a better choice since you will actually be able to get customer service with the Sig down the road. Shame they increased this AT3 one by 20% in only a years time frame. It was a good deal before.

Richard: Hello, fellow gun enthusiasts!
I'd recently just gotten an AR-15 upper and needed a red dot sight (RDS).
As many may know, looking around for gun parts and accessories is a hassle, and trying to sort out information about good and bad parts, especially when it comes to budget options, is quite difficult.
I'd actually only stumbled across this RDS after a few websites and videos showed that it was quite reliable and long-lasting.
This review is an anecdote, but I believe that the AT3 makes a great quality starter RDS for your rifle (and maybe shotgun as I've seen great reviews about it).

What's in it?
This red dot sight comes with a riser (which you can select) to line up with your iron sights, the sight itself (of course), lens covers (which you should take off) and a protective sleeve with lens covers (which you should put on before installation).
It comes with the tools to install the sights on a Picatinny rail and it isn't difficult at all. Then make sure to install the battery with the + side facing up and you should be good to go.

If you notice that the red dot isn't a clear and tiny red dot, keep your eyes on...

I am now blind in the right eye. This is kinda new to me as I shot righthanded for ages. And I used iron sights. Now I'm shooting lefthanded and I needed help getting on target. Oh well, enough "background" right? On to this sight.

I've tried over half a dozen different types of red dot devices, and none of them were for me. The AT3 RD50 Pro has had rave reviews from many. One guy tortured one by dropping from 5ft mounted on a rifle. Threw it across a dirt clearing on the rifle. Drenched in water, beaten and then shot at 10yds with a 12ga shotgun with #8 shot. And it still shot to the original point of aim. Thus I had to try it.

My response to this device:
It's way smaller than depicted. Videos of it are always a closeup. Very deceptive to looking at it on a smartphone. When it arrived, I was actually thinking "This took a hit from a 12ga and survived? Ok, let's go."
Mounted the sight to the included elevated rail, and then on to the rail of my weapon. Then the rubber "armor" cover was in place in seconds. And then on to the range (I have my own). Sitting at 25m in my woods with countless...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Mounted this on a Ruger pc 9. Nice and sturdy mount, has perfect co-witness for irons on this gun. Easily adjusted/sight-in, positive 1/4 click intervals. The red dot itself is on full power in the pic I provided. I think It’s great! Super clean, easily adjusted as well. The “scope bikini” included is really neat, I’ll continue to use it for sure..
And a sweet AT3 decal :)
