With the Sig Sauer SOR52001 Romeo5, you can be sure you're getting the best gun sight on the market.Wjt4: I was searching for an optic to put on my 9mm AR. Read reviews on many different brands and styles and decided after reading the MANY positive reviews on this optic to take a chance. Arrived the next day, put it on the AR and went to the range. I am very impressed. Easy to use and set up. I absolutely love the "shake awake" feature that this optic has. I don't worry about if I turned it on or off like I do with my other optics. The glass is clear, the red dot was bright enough for me. I want to use this firearm and optic in Steel Challenge competitions. I'm on a budget so I just can't see spending 400-500 on a red dot, at least right now. Anyways, I am very pleased with this optic and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Jason Almeida: To those with an astigmatism, this sight is no real different than any other red dot. Mine isn't that bad, but this sight, along with all other red dots do star up a little. For my vision, it's not the bad. But if your astigmatism is worse than mine, then don't expect this to be any better than any other sight.
That said. I believe this sight to be the best bang for your buck. It's not the best overall optic, but for less than $200, yes, it's awesome.

James M Trent Jr.: I bought this red dot for my Kel-Tec Sub 2000. I also purchased a medium rise UTG mount to attach to red dot for extra height. This set up works perfectly. I detach red dot from rifle when not in use, fold the rifle, and attach red dot to bottom of rifle for storage. The Romeo 5 is worth every penny...I highly recommend!

TGTG: The sig romeo 5 is the perfect budget red dot for your general target shooting needs. Once you get past the fact that sig optics are made at the holosun factory, they're really the leader of the pack when it comes to budget optics.
I bought this as a short range optic for an 22 l.r. AR I have. The "shake awake" feature is really great. It turns on when you pick up the rifle and turns off after a few minutes of sitting unused on the shooting bench. This is not only extremely convenient but can significantly increase battery life.
Compared to other optics in its bargain basement price range, the romeo 5 is the best I've used. It was easier to set up compared to my Holosun & Monstrum optics (both optics that are readily available on Amazon at similar prices.) I can't speak to its theoretical accuracy as I'm shooting 22 LR, which is not really a super long range target cartridge, but it holds zero just fine.
Over all, this is a great red dot for the money and I'll definitely buy it again, or possibly a different romeo optic.

Roland W Reddekop: I have one mounted on the riser and another gun mounted with the low mount. The shake awake and auto-off is flawless and the dot is easy to find.

Amazon Customer: This optic is the single most beautiful red dot sight I've ever seen. It's beautifully made, tough, thoughtfully designed, highly adjustable, and well realized. I use it on my slug gun and this optic has withstood numerous magnum 1 1/4oz slugs without loosing even a single click of zero. Very impressed.

907 below zero: The Sig Sauer Romeo5 1X20mm red dot sight is a testament to the quality I have come to expect from Sig Sauer.
Now, my only complaint with this red dot sight is the size of the red dot itself. When I initially purchased it, I expected a slightly larger dot, but to my eyes, it appears more like a speck. While this might not be an issue for everyone, some users, particularly those with less-than-perfect eyesight, may find the dot a tad small for rapid target acquisition. This isn't a deal-breaker by any means, but it's something to consider based on your specific needs.
