Falcon V1 Red Dot Sight with 3x Magnification

In the civilian life I shoot on a regular basis with red dots and scopes. Was very excited about this magnifier coming from a veteran company and reading a few (50 or more) reviews. It arrived today, very easy to assemble the mount and mount to rail on my ar-15. Immediately Found I cannot find get a good eye relief or center of this magnifier. The sight picture is off to the right. Attempted to make adjustments and can see the movement of sight picture but having to look more to the right of the magnifier just to see a partial sight picture. Cannot see the full circle of the magnifier. Will be contacting them today.

BrianBrian: I've had this for about 1 1/2 years now and for the price I can't complain. The glass is decent, I've shot out to about 125 yards with it and it's clear enough. It doesn't have the clarity of my Vortex VMX-3T but I wouldn't expect that for the $75 I paid. I've had it on my M&P15-22 for over a year and had it out in the woods in the heat, humidity, rain, shine, and the cold and never had any issues with it fogging up. The eye relief isn't bad on it. The only negative I have is that the flip mount is cheap, soft metal and mine didn't even survive 100 rounds on an 8" .300 blk before it fell off. The threads on the bolt were pretty much just gone. All in all though, well worth it for a budget option.

Mike: I was intrigued by the price tag of this optic, so I looked into it a little and found a few YouTube reviews and torture tests. When the conclusion was a firm “Yes, I’m buying more of these” from the YouTuber, who had just burned it with a torch, I had to see for myself. I just received mine today and set it up on my Tavor X95, yes, the reason I’m looking at budget optics. It’s crystal clear, has amazing eye relief and it centered the dot within a minute of adjusting.
Now I’m off to the range to see how I like using it. If all goes well, I’ll buy another for my AK!!

Dr. Z: The first one I received had a loose hinge and rattled all over. The company instantly send me a new mount and it now fits great. Nice clear picture of the target. Folds out of the way easily. I mounted it to hinge away to the right so it would be more out of the way. I wish the release could be operated w your right thumb forward instead of having to reach to the far front w your left hand.

Dr_Geo: This scope is okay if you plan to mount it primarily for cosmetic purposes. I find that the eye relief for this scope is terrible. This fact alone makes the scope unsuitable if you plan on utilizing it for tactical purposes. I mounted this scope on my AR-15 Colt Commando (11.5" barrel) to pair with my red dot. I rarely shoot beyond 50 feet with my AR-15 Colt Commando and almost never use the scope. If I did utilize the scope more often, I would certainly replace this scope with another better quality scope.
