I had 3 wet thick bath mats and a large heavy blanket on my ~35 foot line. It certainly sagged but absolutely no worries about it breaking.
Its been up about 2 weeks, I've tightened it twice, total about 9 inches (I marked the line so I know for certain it did not slip). My install uses turnbuckles and cable clamp clip fasteners, which I thought would allow me to tighten without shortening the line...no such luck. I expect it will stretch again, I ordered a mini winch tightener hoping it will allow the line to be tightened 'in place'.

Christine: I used this product to replace my clothes line which is a circular spinner outside.
It’s very strong and weather proof and although it took me a while to replace it all I am very happy with it.

867-5309867-5309: This is 100 feet. I thought it would be enough for our clothes line. It was not.
Sonifnyou have a clothesline like mine, you'll need 200 feet.

Lisa: I purchased two 100' packages to restring my umbrella type clothesline. While tedious to feed the entire 100' through all the holes on each side, this line has remained, without adjustment, taut and snug, despite holding several loads of laundry each week for the last four months. Because of the inner wire, it was difficult knotting the end without using pliers to pull it tight, but worth it as the line won't sag because of that wire. I can't imagine having to replace it unless the outer plastic coating cracks apart from UV rays. Good value for the money.

Ryan: Where has this been all my life?! I've been hanging laundry on a clothesline for almost 10 years and have always used the traditional, cheap nylon rope. That rope works fine for a few months, but always needs to be replaced at least once a year, sometimes twice. It gets discolored, it sags, and eventually breaks.
THIS stuff, however, is amazing. I've had it up for a few months now and it still looks brand new. It holds a LOT of weight without sagging, doesn't get discolored or moldy, and looks great. Honestly, I'm upset I didn't find it sooner. If you're building a new clothesline, or replacing the rope on an existing one, do yourself a favor and get this stuff. It's that good.
Note that you will also need a line tensioner, ideally. This stuff is good, but it will slowly loosen over time and the tensioner allows you to tighten it back up every few months with just a few twists.

Rust Never Sleeps: I certainly wasn't expecting such high quality in a clothesline -- the wire inside is bright metal, and very strong -- looks to be about 18 Gauge wire -- reinforced with fiberglas strands -- heavy white plastic coating on the wire is smooth and pliable.
I used the Anchor Wire clothesline to re-string our worn-out "umbrella-style" clothes dryer with the single-pole, 4-sided, folding aluminum apparatus. This plastic-coated wire clothesline is a PLENTY strong enough to run a 50' line, and long enough to run two 50' lines.
Some reviewers expressed concerns over cancer-causing substances in the plastic wire coating. NOT TO WORRY !! The cancer warning on the box is to cover the plating on the wire that's inside the fiberglas that's inside the plastic coating.
You MAY get cancer from this clothesline IF you BURN the whole roll of it and inhale all the smoke !!
Your chances of getting cancer from this clothesline is about the same as for getting a shark bite while swimming at the beach in KANSAS !!
Stand up to cancer !! Eat some broccoli !! Get this clothesline !!
My order arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

42: These (I needed to buy two) work fine as replacement lines for my umbrella style outdoor clothes drying rack. Sure, it's time consuming to install but that would be true of any replacement lines. It does fit the holes already in my dryer and hopefully the wire core will provide a longer life than my original lines which had to wire in them.
