alwaysmama: This clothesline is great! My husband and I traveled for two months in our RV and used this regularly. It is very easy to set up. We could almost always find places to attach it between trees and in the desert, we just attached it to our awning braces. It held everything from normal laundry to soaking wet blankets. With the little dividers on the line, I could use some folding hangers that I purchased separately to hang shirts. In one camping site we hooked both lines together in order to stretch between uprights. The line held up perfectly even though we loaded it down.

I also use this line at home. It is so easy to set up and take down quickly. I don't have to have any permanent supports for it, or have a line that is up all the time and gets in the way. With this, I can dry clothes in the warm weather, then take it down during the cold months. It's easy to adjust the height when I am drying blankets so that they can be hung straight instead of folded. It's perfect!

Cheryl: I spent the first 20 years of my life without a dryer and have used many, many clothes lines of all types over the years. I've finally moved to a spot where I can line dry all my clothes again so I ordered these after my last line broke. This is easily the best clothes line I have ever used. It does stretch a bit and the ends get a bit wonky, but you can just tighten the line using the hooks and it's an easy fix. You can also easily extend the line if needed by joining the two together with the hooks. Just ordered another set after a year as I need more space for my baby's cloth diapers. The first set is still going strong. Excellent for drying button down shirts right on the hangers, no more ironing for me! Has held up even with a king size comforter, sheets and towels. If you get a pin basket with a hook, you can slide it along as you hang, then hook it to the end for storage when you're done as it won't slide away to the middle of the line.

Virginia: I wash most of my clothing in cold water and hang them to dry. I was always looking for places to hang things in my house, as outside hanging is not possibile for me. That meant my clothes were hanging from doorways, cabinets, all over the bathroom, it drove me nuts! I hunted through many products at Amazon and settled on this because of it’s length and the reviews. I have wooden beams on the ceiling of one room in my house. I added a good hook and stretched the clothesline across the room at a diagonal and attached the opposite end to another beam. You could easily just use some eye-hooks in a discreet area on walls.
The line is put up easily and quickly removed, it hangs along the ceiling but stretches quite a bit with the weight of wet clothes, so with my 8’ ceilings I found it needed to be hung that high. I place all of my wet clothes for a week on this line, by putting the clothes on hangers and then attaching the hangers to the little openings on the clothesline. This product has been a real asset to my life! I brought the second line that came in the package to our vacation home where I hang it as needed between two trees. Kindle Customer: I am extremely pleased to have found these. Tried them on a camping trip; came home and bought two more sets for use in our new location. I used to have hooks hanging from the roof--can't do that here--boards are too high off the ground, but we have big posts about 12' apart. These are great! And the hangers do not blow off in the wind, and even more importantly you have large and small spaces to insert various hangers so when the wind blows your clothes remain separated! (I would post a photo but I can't figure out how to do it from my phone.)

On the camping trip it was quite useful to be able to hook the two lines together because the trees were far apart.

I can also air-dry a down blanket on them after putting it in the dryer for a while.

I don't know how long they will last, but so long as they remain available, it's ok--they are great! (I see that some are leaving their lines permanently up. Fine if you like, although I think weather and sunlight will deteriorate them more quickly. I am taking mine down after each use and rolling them back up. Dave in STL: Climate change isn't exactly at the top of my environmental worry-list (others are much higher), but if it is for you, I suggest these clotheslines. And even if it's not, I still recommend them. They are strong and very easy to use, especially when used with clips (HONBAY 24 Pcs Clothes Peg Clip Pins Hanging Clips Hooks with Rope Clothesline Windproof Hanger), which stay attached to the line and make hanging clothes very easy. I stretch the clotheslines across my deck and can easily unhook one side when I'm done to take it down. The lines are very sturdy, holding up well in the wind, and they have holes that hold hangars in place even if the line sways a lot.

Since purchasing these clotheslines I have dramatically lowered my dryer usage. Typically, I would run our dryer 3-4 times a week, for about 40 minutes. Now, I only run it for about ten minutes 2-3 times a week. I only use the dryer to help fluff out the wrinkles after clothes are spun in the washer. After the fluffing, I move the clothing out to the lines.
