Crawdad: Appears to be adequate. Plastic coating makes it relatively clean for clothes. I'll update if it doesn't last.

Robin Mummert: Bought one at local hardware store, p o c! Sagged from the get go! This one doesn't. seems shorter than the hardware one but it just probably stretched. Anyway, would buy again!!

southern gal: We got it strung on the clothesline poles with no problem. I have used it only 1 time, it seems to be durable and thicker than the previous line I used. It does stretch a lot with a wet, heavy item. I did a quilted bedspread and luckily I have clothesline support poles otherwise the bedspread would have touched the ground. With sheets and other lighter things it was fine.

missread: Nice clothesline. Does not stretch and is much the same as the one we just replaced after 15 years of use. Would definitely recommend.
