Abhinav Goyal: So many plot twists, that keep you on the edge of your seat... Sometimes you would need to re-read many paragraphs to understand the complexity of events happening altogether.
Also good for those looking for books to improve their speaking skills and/or vocabulary.

Kindle Customer: Murder on the orient express is a great whodunit from the master. Even knowing the solution, I enjoy rereading it. The characters are so human, as always in Agatha Christie novels, but still so entertaining.

Detective Hercule Poirot resolves a case in Syria and must forego his planned few days of relaxation after being urgently called back to London regarding a new development in a separate case. He is able to obtain last-minute accommodations on the Orient Express train with the help of a rail company executive and friend, but they are forced to stop unexpectedly in the countryside of Yugoslavia during a blizzard and must wait days for snow to be cleared from the tracks.
During the night, a passenger is murdered in their sleeping car! The door is locked from the inside. The window is open, but there are no footprints in the snow. The murderer must be one of the other passengers, but who?! And why?
Murder on the Orient Express has a wide range of interesting suspects and the always clever (and he knows it) French Detective Poirot. The rail company executive Bauc and Dr. Constantine try to help Poirot determine who the murderer is, but of course every new piece of information changes their suspicions and adds to the complexity of the case.
This classic mystery is a very entertaining story with a...

Atulya Sinha: With total sales of over two billion books, Agatha Christie, the “Queen of Crime,” is the best-selling author in the world barring Shakespeare. “Murder on the Orient Express” first published in 1934, is often regarded as the best of her Poirot novels.
On the very first page of this book, we encounter “a small lean man, muffled up to the ears, of whom nothing was visible but a pink-tipped nose and the two points of an upward curled moustache.” Needless to say, this is the celebrated Hercule Poirot, who has retired from the Belgian police and is working as a private investigator based in England. He is boarding the Taurus Express from Aleppo, bound for Istanbul, where he intends to break his journey for a few days before returning to London.
Poirot is checking into Tokatlian Hotel in Istanbul, when he receives a telegram recalling him to London. He decides to board the Orient Express leaving later that evening. While having dinner, he is pleasantly surprised to meet an old friend M Bouc, who is also travelling on the same train. The train is unusually full for the time of the year – but Bouc, who is a director of the company which operates the train,...

Debjit Sengupta: Many of us have a fascination for crime thriller. If the crime involves a murder and is investigated by a detective, then this thriller becomes ever more absorbing. Since you have an interest on this genre that’s why you are here, reading this review. Have you ever wondered why we are attracted towards murder mysteries? Human being by nature love challenges and cannot resist puzzles and mysteries. As the story goes on, it stimulates the reader to figure out the killer. The stories help readers to get a glimpse of the people that they would never encounter in real life. The likes of Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot and Hardy boys lead us to the psyches of the killer and the dead. The list also includes home grown detectives like Feluda and Byomkesh Bakshi.
A group of international passengers are on Orient Express, which is on a route from Istanbul to London. They are trapped and stranded inside due to a snow storm. To their horror, one of the passenger had been murdered. To the killer’s sheer bad luck, Hercule Poirot had boarded too. Rick O: I haven't read a mystery of this ilk in a long time and it was a breath of fresh air. Agatha Christie wrote this book in 1934 and it's a beaut! It stars her famous Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot. It seems to me many books and movies like 'After The Thin Man' have stolen Agatha's idea of gathering all the suspects for one final interrogation to solve the case. Can anybody do it better than Agatha, who has out-sold every published work except the Bible and Shakespeare? Maybe the only character that can challenge Hercule Poirot is Agatha's other famous sleuth, Miss Jane Marple. Since this book was written so long ago, it gives the reader the flavor of the times, such as the European attitude towards America, the style of clothing, and the reminiscence of long train trips.
The story starts with our hero boarding the Orient Express in Aleppo, Syria, after a successful investigation for the French Army. He meets one of the directors of the company that runs the Orient train, M.Bouc. Hercule Poirot joins the other thirteen passengers, M. Bouc, a Dr. Constantine, and one conductor in the Athens-Paris Coach. And folks we are off to the races!! One of the passengers, a Mr....

Faraz Shaik: It's a psychological thriller, the detective kind. But really good.
Book quality or rather quality of paper is not so good, it's kind of buff paper.
There are many french sentences and I thought of highlighting them and write their meaning but when highlight the ink from onside of paper is visible at the other side and it does not look good.
