HEPA Upright Vacuum with Tornado Disposable Filter Bag

Alvin W.: Unit came in not working. The brush roll didn't turn. Also the belt cover had broken yellow fasteners. I needed that vacuum Asap to be part of my business. They never talked about replacement just a refund. I'm still without a vacuum.

Mark Sizer: This is my third vacuum cleaner since my previous one died. I returned the other two for being basically non-functional. I'm not 100% thrilled with this one, but at least it works.
Pros:
- Thick bags (not just the one that came with it, but the replacements, too) that don't blow dust. Bagged is a requirement for me - I much prefer throwing away bags to washing out canisters.
- Tilts down mostly flat so it gets under things well.
- Lots of height adjustment for the motorized spinning brush (that the other two didn't have)
Cons:
- Wrap-up cord; I prefer the spring loaded, retracting mechanism (one of the others had a six-inch cord, which is even worse).
- Weird attachment wand. The solid, non-bending portion is the height of the machine, which makes using the attachments on not-floors (e.g. drapery, cushions) awkward.
- The "upholstery" attachment has no bristles, so the suction makes it unusable on anything with pile; it just sucks itself down and doesn't move without leaving crushed pile along the edges. It also pulls the cushions off porch furniture, rather than just pulling the dust/dirt off the cushions. I guess I should add "good suction" to the pro...

Christopher: This is a very heavy vacuum and it does not perform on hard floors. Works on carpeting only. It will push debris around and not pick up even dust on hard floors. Very hard to handle because of its weight. Seller would not accept a return when it was less than 2 weeks outside the 30 day return window so now I am stuck with this piece of junk. Don't buy this!

Kris: Like the other review, I bought a Dyson Ball Comlete a little over a year ago. What a complete piece! I have a tornado shop vac I bought snap on! It works great so bought the CV-30! It was a great purchase! As good as a Kirby if not better! And I’ve owned one of those too. Much better price!

R-Mat: I work at a hotel and we have these vacuums. I don't work in housekeeping, but had the chance to use one one day and since I needed a new vacuum, though I'd give this one a try for myself at home. I ordered it, it was shipped right away and arrived at my door in just a couple days - lightning fast shipping! So far, I love it! It pushes so incredibly smooth and practically pulls itself so it feels like you're hardly pushing it at all. It has a lot of neat features: a nice long cord. In my small house, I don't even have to change plugs until I go to vacuum the basement. It lays flat so that it's very easy to vacuum underneath tables and chairs, etc. It has on-board attachments that come in handy and are ready to go - no connecting a hose and digging out attachments. They're right there ready to go when you are. There is a dial on the front that allows you to adjust the height of the vacuum depending on the type of carpet you are vacuuming. All in all, it's a more simple vacuum, but it is high quality and well-made. I'm sure I will get plenty of good use out of it over the years.
