T/K. Modlin: I bought this to take my cat to the Vet monthly for his shots for arthritis. I also have back problems and his old carrier is quite heavy with him in it. It is also a hard shell so awkward to carry. This carrier I can use the strap on my shoulder and it is a fraction of the weight I was trying to carry before. I got it right at the end of summer, but I think next year will be even better as it has so much open top that he gets better air flow and pants less on our way too and from the Vets office. It feels like a nice quality duffel. There is wiring for support and holding shape in the ends. The insert in the bottom is really thin, but seems to be sturdy enough to keep the bag from collapsing under his weight when I pick him up. I feel like this is a well made product, but the sturdiness over time will be the one thing I look out for.

Amazon Customer: We use this to travel (car) with our two chihuahuas and they fit in it nicely together. We never zip them all the way up in it but we could, there would be enough room. It is just as described. It does not have metal poles holding it up but if the side panels are zipped up it holds it's shape well. One of my dogs did kind of smash it down when he was standing up on the edge but it went right back to it's shape. The mesh is sturdy and will hold up to two rambunctious creatures. I love the green color! Handles are great and so is the strap. My dogs weigh about 7 pounds each and it carries them both perfectly.

Justin Choi: Originally bought the smaller size, but was a little too small for our 9 year old, 12 lbs poochon Mr. Buddy!

We use it primarily when dining out, and both my mother and I feel more relaxed/comfortable that Buddy's got somewhere to lay his head/feel secure instead of laying on the bare floor. Our 9 year old has severe separation anxiety and also doesn't like being out in the open, so this carrier's perfect for him!

Haven't had the chance to travel with it yet, except locally! But with the size, durability, and weight, it's perfect for local/short distance travels!

Love this carrier! Nothing super fancy or flashy! Gets the job done! And perfect for our senior poochon!

m querns: I love it, Jack hastes it, but then he hates everything. Dog collars, leashes, bowls, I got him in it and he was not happy but stayed. Now I leave it open in the office in the hopes he’ll explore on his own. If you have a “pet” I’m sure they’ll love. He is a bit feral, a rescue from the streets of L.A. Slowly coming around been here 16 months. This carrier is the best I’ve seen and I have had a few I’d say it’s a keeper and so is Jack.

Karen J: I ordered this product specifically for carrying my cat on a plane. This product was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. The mesh fabric, is durable and did not fray or get damaged when he clawed at it lightly. He is approximately 13 pounds and was seated very comfortably in it. I like that not every angle is see-through, providing some privacy and safety for his anxiety (this feature of one long side, one short side, and part of the top being see-through is great for cats, with anxiety) . The frame is sturdy and does not collapse on him. The base is washable padding with particleboard in it. If there is an accident, it is easy to replace. The two options for carrying straps makes it extremely versatile for strapping onto other luggage, or carrying as a carry-on or personal item. The long strap is adjustable, and the short straps Velcro in the middle for carrying comfort. So far, I have only use this one time, so we shall see how the durability is as time goes by. But for the cost, I would consider getting one for all of my pets. Plus, it is TSA and airline, compliant, big bonus!

Carleigh LoshusanCarleigh Loshusan: I fell in love with this carrier. It had all the features I wanted. I searched for days before deciding on this carrier.

I was looking for a carrier to hold an adult cat. Because I am adopting, I did not have the ability to measure, but based on reviews and the description, I figured I’d give it a try.

When it arrived, I was impressed with the quality but disappointed that it could not stay standing up unless you zipped the sides up. BUT! I realized it was fine because you can still open the door right beneath the outer zipper and it would still open all the sides.

It would not be sturdy enough to hold a cat on top of the holder in my opinion. Depends on the size of the cat.

Since I am looking for an adult cat and want them to be comfortable, I ended up returning it and purchasing the backpack which I believe will suit my situation better as I travel mostly by bus and may have to stand and walk most of the time. I think it will be more comfortable than being on my side being bopped around.

Also, the large carrier was not available in the colour I wanted, and the classic carrier style did not suit my situation overall.

LAF: I purchased two of these before for my two cats & they are just perfect in every way. We've unexpectedly adopted another cat, and I've just gotten this one for her.

I like that there are so many zippers. Great choices for loading the cat in the bag & removing it once at the vet. The smaller and larger side doors so the cat can enter or exit independently are very nice. The bottom features a removable wooden base that's got a zippered faux fur cover & foam pad. I've removed & washed it & it washes very nicely (Including the foam). There's a handy pocket to store paperwork or for bringing home supplies/receipts from the vet.

It has carry handles that you can Velcro together if you choose. It also has an adjustable shoulder strap for ease of carrying your pet, or when your hands are full. One feature I really like is that the back side & half of one of the sides is covered with fabric. It's handy when there are a lot of other animals at the vet so I can turn the carrier so my cats can't see & be frightened by other animals.
