Heiden Monaco Single Watch Winder - Luxurious Black Leather

AK Flyer: I originally purchased a dual winder from another well known brand for almost double the price of 2 of these. After I did some research, I found out the Heiden is actually a good brand and the Heiden actually has better features than the other brand (e.g. adjustable TPD). I purchased 2 of the Monaco Single Watch Winder since it supports D-cell battery operations and returned my other winder.

I put the winders on my small bookshelf and it runs silently. It winds for a couple minutes and then stop for about an hour before it starts up again, at least at the 650 TPD setting. According to the GS springdrive power reserve indicator, the 650 TPD (setting recommended by the manufacture) would maintain the power reserve, but not wind the watch (e.g. when I put the watch in the winder half charge, it will maintain at half charge but not fully charge the watch).

Another nice feature I found out is that Heiden actually sell replacement motor for the winder, so if the winder motor wears out, you can replace the motor for $20 USD instead of buying a whole new winder

SD VasquezSD Vasquez: I was needing a winder to Wind & keep wound my Bucherer. All the ones less quality were Not winding my watch, as I do not wear daily I wanted it ready when I was! The reviews on this HEIDEN sold me to give it a try. Its got some weight/sturdy, quiet, elegant to look at if you were to leave it sitting out. I am Extremely happy with this purchase. I was debating on the 2 watch version but I only have the 1 watch currently so thought better. I did not want to spend Hundreds on a winder so this worked out better than hoped.
Must buy!

A. A. Brogowicz: I wad attracted by the Heiden Monoco’s choice of four turns-per-day settings ranging from 650 to 1850 TPD. Most inexpensive winders operate at a very high 2880 TPD, which can harm a watch over time, while the more expensive brand offers only one 900 TPD setting. For my Omega Seamaster 2500, I set the winder at 650 TPD, turning both clockwise and counter-clockwise, land after 6 days my watch is still keeping perfect time. And the winder runs whisper-quiet. I don’t hear it at all.

I also like the fact that the winder holds my watch face vertically and always returns to the starting upright position when stopped. It has a convenient power on-off button, comes
with an AC power cord and can also run on D batteries (but winders devour batteries very quickly).

The slightly oblong watch pillow will hold either a regular-size or a large watch. The padded winder case is reasonably attractive, but—one slight quibble—I wish the hinged cover opened a little wider.

I am extremely happy with this Heiden watch winder and think it offers great value at its price point.
