This is the best way to wire a trailer that I’ve come across. I used to to add all new lights and wiring to my big Tex 16’ flatbed trailer. You do have to pay attention to the colors on the junction box as they were not the same as my wiring. Even then, it’s easy to follow. Before I closed up the box , I took a couple photos and stored on my phone but also printed and added to my maintenance binder. Never know if that will come in handy someday.

This could have been a "royal" pain, but turned out to be a breeze with this trailer wiring. Nicely color coded with a photograph and marked functionality of each terminal. Your particular vehicle may have different colors than what connects in the box, but Google your vehicle's wiring diagram and hook it up. I labelled each terminal with its function to make it easier to hook up and potential problem solve in the future. Definitely worth the money.

Really impressed with this NiLight 7 way harness and junction box. The quality of the coating, right back to the junction box, is 2nd to none! They included some plugs and grommets for wiring which makes waterproofing on my end more simplified. All the wiring was as shown in the diagram and super simple to add my wiring harness into the junction box. The seals appear to seat well and the box is solid once mounted to the frame. I added some NiLight 18W (low amperage draw, still super bright!)spot lamps to the reverse circuit, bumper mounted. Should make those late night pull-ins to site easier😉

Came with everything to install box and all necessary plugs to make it weather resistant. Plug appears to be made well. However, DISREGARD the wire instructions included. They are NOT correct get a trailer harness wiring diagram and wire it up by matching the plug blade to correct post in box. This is NOT color coded to standard US trailer wiring code. You will need to dismantle the plug to correct the wiring mishap!

This unit makes for an awesome, clean wiring install on any trailer. But none of the wires match standard industry trailer wiring. I learned 40 years ago that brown is running lights, green is right brake light and yellow is left brake light. So you need to save the label from the box to identify wires in the future because they are all the wrong colors.
