David N: Having the lights working on the adapter is a very nice feature to have while trying to check your lighting. You can see in an instant if there is power going to your trailer lights and makes trouble shooting easier.

Barney: The adaptor works for my brake & turning signals. The running lights do come on for a short time, then fuse blows. I only loose these lights. I connected my trailer lights to a different 12 volt sourse to check for the problem. It is the adaptor. Defective. I ordered the product in June & have used the adaptor a few times during the day without running lights on. Yesterday I brought my trailer and boat home late evening. This is when I noticed the failure.
Much too late to return for a refund.
I like the product & understand products can & do fail. My only suggestion is , when the adaptor arrives, plug it in & try it out. Leave the running lights on for more than 15 mins. Fuse blew for my running lights first & second time while driving & adaptor plugged in.
